Quotes
We are at the time where there is going to be a famine of the Word of God and every Christian is going to have to be a purveyor of the word. -Pastor Jim Bakker
Scriptures
Amos 8:11 KJV Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:
II Chronicles 16:9 KJV For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
Matthew 24:7 KJV For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
I Timothy 6:10 KJV For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Revelation 6:8 NIV I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
Revelation 6:6 NLT And I heard a voice from among the four living beings say, “A loaf of wheat bread or three loaves of barley will cost a day’s pay. And don’t waste the olive oil and wine.”
I John 4:4 KJV Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
I know several months ago you mentioned William Branham on your program. In one of his sermons he preached in the mid-60’s he prophesied that a 300 mile wide and 1500 mile long piece of California was going to break off due to an earthquake. I will try to find the sermon and let you know so you could hear it for yourself. He also said it was “Thus saith the Lord” that Los Angeles was going to sink into the ocean. Never one time did he ever say something with “Thus Saith the Lord” that it did not happen.
