Pastor Jim & Lori Bakker welcome Carl and Rosemarie Palmer. Rosemarieshare about her holistic dentistry work in California where she encourages patients to adopt diets based on their blood types; to take appropriate nutritional supplements and improve the type of water they drink.

By demonstrating your faith you are in obedience. Preparing, being ready, and getting right with God are ways you can show Him that faith. By faith, Noah built an ark. Noah obeyed God and, because of that obedience, he honored God. When you say you have faith, but then do nothing, your faith is worth nothing. Lori shares her story about working in the city. They didn’t just go to the neighborhood and talk about God meeting those needs. They brought food to feed the hungry.

Many people are not hearing from God because they have been hurt by others or by the Church. We need to not be bitter towards God because of what people do. We are not saved by works. God’s salvation is a gift. But if you are born again, you should obey God and do what he says. God loves obedience. When you have faith works, you’re doing things in obedience to the scripture. If you are born again, you will have works.

The story in Genesis shows how God used Joseph to prepare for the great famine and hard times that were to strike Egypt. Despite the many trials Joseph went through in the betrayal of his brothers and false imprisonment based on lies from the king’s wife, he didn’t allow bitterness to take hold and instead became a better person who submitted to God’s plan for his life.

God elevated Joseph to the position of second in charge and responsible for storing up food for all the residents of the land during a time when money had become worthless. Joseph allowed the people to barter their animals or other property in exchange for food.

Pastor Jim explains that bartering will become standard again as increasing numbers find themselves in economic crisis. He admonished listeners to begin storing up items that people will need. Lori shared she’s stocking up on toilet paper which may soon be in high demand but low supply.

Pastor Jim concluded by saying it’s laziness to have a “do nothing attitude”and it is wise for Christians to plan ahead, like Joseph and Noah did, by stocking up on survival items. Return to gardening and growing produce to stay away from the unnatural seeds and foods that corporations obtain patents for and reproduce unnaturally. Pastor Jim warns that the hunger and desperation of people in Egypt led them to willingly offer themselves as slaves to the king. Joseph, a Godly representative, did not take advantage of that but in the last days, and in the absence of such an honorable servant at the right hand of the chief ruler, people may very well end up offering their submission to the anti-Christ.

Genesis 47:11-25 NCV Joseph obeyed the king and gave his father and brothers the best land in Egypt, near the city of Rameses. And Joseph gave his father, his brothers, and everyone who lived with them the food they needed. The hunger became worse, and since there was no food anywhere in the land, Egypt and Canaan became very poor. Joseph collected all the money that was to be found in Egypt and Canaan. People paid for the grain they were buying, and he brought that money to the king’s palace. Every Egyptian sold Joseph his field, because the hunger was very great. So the land became the king’s, and Joseph made the people slaves from one end of Egypt to the other. The only land he did not buy was the land the priests owned. They did not need to sell their land because the king paid them for their work. So they had money to buy food. Joseph said to the people, “Now I have bought you and your land for the king, so I will give you seed and you can plant your fields. At harvest time you must give one-fifth to the king. You may keep four-fifths for yourselves to use as seed for the field and as food for yourselves, your families, and your children.” The people said, “You have saved our lives. If you like, we will become slaves of the king.”
