Pastor Jim flew solo in this program as Lori remained away visiting 
her niece and newly born grand nephew. Several Media Masters students joined him on the panel as he continued on the subject of what comes next in the book of Revelation after the arrival of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. “They’re already riding,” Pastor Jim said, noting examples in society that point to the presence of the anti-Christ spirit and the plague of diseases and mass deaths. Little notice is paid, he said, to the fact that more people have died from HIV/AIDS than succumbed to the Bubonic Plague in the 1300s.
With a sense of urgency, he relayed how he was awakened with 1 Thessalonians 5:3 on his mind and then warned that God desires to firmly remind people that destruction will come suddenly and at a time when leaders reassure the masses that all is peace and safety. Pastor Jim said he was instructed to look up the Greek words for key phrases in the verse. He then scolded preachers and spiritual teachers who refuse to study the Greek and Hebrew texts from which modern translations were taken. He plainly said that King James did a good work in hiring men to translate the Bible into Olde English, but also said the king was a secular man, not a prophet of God. The Lord did not speak in the language of King James with a lot of “thous” and “thees” sprinkled throughout His words.
Pastor Jim said he found that the Greek word for “peace” in the Thessalonians verse also implies prosperity or self assurance based on financial status. The word translated as “safety,” in the Greek relates to a sense of security. He quoted The Message Bible translation’s clearer version of the verse: “… About the time everybody’s walking around complacently, congratulating each other—We’ve sure got it made! Now we can take it easy!—suddenly everything will fall apart. It’s going to come as suddenly and inescapably as birth pangs to a pregnant woman. ”
He again encouraged viewers to start stocking up on food and supplies to better prepare for the times ahead. Turning to dietary concerns, he then added that all should make better health decisions, including eating right and letting go of things like white flour with its links to many ailments. He noted that the death of singer Whitney Houston hurt him and Lori because the entertainer made a number of poor choices that led to her early demise and silenced her amazing voice.
On another note, he gave status updates on several Morningside projects, including announcement of the forming of the Master’s Choir under the direction of Pastor Cedric Hayes. A short video, recorded by phone, was played showing the progress and harmony of the students after rehearsing with the choir leader only two times. Pastor Jim said praise has arrived at Morningside, as have many miracles. He also made it known that an opportunity has presented itself for him to buy Morningside outright and make it into a city of refuge. The acquisition of 30 more acres for the campground moves it one step closer to becoming the “Rock of Ages Serenity Park” that Pastor Jim envisions. He foresees the entire property turning into the “most amazing Christian retreat” in the world. Even though a need exists for $200,000 more dollars to complete the new production complex, and despite the fact that income levels have dropped overall, Pastor Jim continues to move out in faith, ever keeping the vision given to him at the forefront of his mind.
