Scriptures
II Peter 3:3-6 NCV It is most important for you to understand what will happen in the last days. People will laugh at you. They will live doing the evil things they want to do. They will say, “Jesus promised to come again. Where is he? Our fathers have died, but the world continues the way it has been since it was made.” But they do not want to remember what happened long ago. By the word of God heaven was made, and the earth was made from water and with water. Then the world was flooded and destroyed with water.
Luke 17:24-27 NCV “When the Son of Man comes again, he will shine like lightning, which flashes across the sky and lights it up from one side to the other. But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by the people of this time. When the Son of Man comes again, it will be as it was when Noah lived. People were eating, drinking, marrying, and giving their children to be married until the day Noah entered the boat. Then the flood came and killed them all.
Luke 4:4 KJV And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
Luke 17:28-30 NCV It will be the same as during the time of Lot. People were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, and building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from the sky and killed them all. This is how it will be when the Son of Man comes again.
Luke 21:28 NCV When these things begin to happen, look up and hold your heads high, because the time when God will free you is near!”
Mark 13:29-30 NCV In the same way, when you see these things happening, you will know that the time is near, ready to come. I tell you the truth, all these things will happen while the people of this time are still living.
Mark 13:33 NCV Be careful! Always be ready, because you don’t know when that time will be.
Mark 13:35-37 NCV So always be ready, because you don’t know when the owner of the house will come back. It might be in the evening, or at midnight, or in the morning while it is still dark, or when the sun rises. Always be ready. Otherwise he might come back suddenly and find you sleeping.I tell you this, and I say this to everyone: ‘Be ready!’”
Luke 21:36 NCV So be ready all the time. Pray that you will be strong enough to escape all these things that will happen and that you will be able to stand before the Son of Man.”
Matthew 24:44 KJV Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Galatians 6:7 KJV Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Colossians 4:2-5 NCV Continue praying, keeping alert, and always thanking God. Also pray for us that God will give us an opportunity to tell people his message. Pray that we can preach the secret that God has made known about Christ. This is why I am in prison. Pray that I can speak in a way that will make it clear, as I should.Be wise in the way you act with people who are not believers, making the most of every opportunity.
Luke 18:1-8 The Unjust Judge & The Persistent Widow
I Thessalonians 5:17 KJV Pray without ceasing.
Matthew 18:19 KJV Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
John 8:36 KJV If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Isaiah 53:5 KJV But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
I Corinthians 11:23-32 NCV The teaching I gave you is the same teaching I received from the Lord: On the night when the Lord Jesus was handed over to be killed, he took bread and gave thanks for it. Then he broke the bread and said, “This is my body; it isfor you. Do this to remember me.” In the same way, after they ate, Jesus took the cup. He said, “This cup is the new agreement that is sealed with the blood of my death. When you drink this, do it to remember me.” Every time you eat this bread and drink this cup you are telling others about the Lord’s death until he comes. So a person who eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in a way that is not worthy of it will be guilty of sinning against the body and the blood of the Lord. Look into your own hearts before you eat the bread and drink the cup, because all who eat the bread and drink the cup without recognizing the body eat and drink judgment against themselves. That is why many in your group are sick and weak, and some of you have died. But if we judged ourselves in the right way, God would not judge us. But when the Lord judges us, he disciplines us so that we will not be destroyed along with the world.
Jeremiah 18:1-10 The Potter and the Clay
Matthew 6:15 NKJV But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
I John 4:7 KJV Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
