God’s Grace

Romans 8:31 – “If God is for us who can be against us?”

I am starting out by giving the Greek and Hebrew definitions of “Grace” which is the original language. In Hebrew (Chanan) it means Graciousness, Kindness, Favor & Beauty. In Greek (Charis) it means Graciousness, Kindness, Favor & Beauty. But also the Greek Grace is “divine influence on the heart.” It’s a reflection in life with gratitude. Plus the Greek version adds, “that which affords Joy – Pleasure – Delight – Sweetness – Charm and Loveliness!”

Wow! The Grace of God is the favor that allows the power into our lives, but you have to believe it. As a believer, we have a right to God’s power and authority in Jesus name. We can’t earn authority as we already have it. We are working from authority.

God’s Grace is first mentioned in Genesis 6:8 to Noah, “But Noah found Grace in the eyes of the LORD.”

Psalm 45:2 – “You are fairer than the sons of men; Grace is pressed upon Your lips; Therefore, God has blessed You forever (our Messiah).’’

Psalm 84:11 – “For the LORD GOD is a sun and shield; The LORD will give Grace and Glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”

Grace and Truth are mentioned in John, Chapter 1. Verse 17 says, “For the law was given through Moses, but Grace and Truth came through Jesus Christ.

Be encouraged as Jesus said in 2 Corinthians 12:9 — “My Grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

1 Peter 5:56 — “God resists the proud, but gives Grace to the humble.”

Also in 1 Peter 5:10 it says, “But may the God of all Grace, who called us to His eternal Glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered for a while, perfect – establish – strengthen and settle you.” Verse 11 says, “To Him be the Glory and dominion forever and ever.” Amen

In closing, I am referring to Ephesians 6:24, “Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity.”

Now grow in the Grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
