Rabbi Jonathan Cahn Addresses United Nations About Christian ‘Holocaust’

Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, The New York Times best-selling author of The Harbinger and The Mystery of the Shemitah, addressed the United Nations on Friday about the worsening persecution of Christians in the Middle East and other parts of the world.

Cahn, the senior rabbi at the Beth Israel Worship Center in Wayne, New Jersey, was invited along with other Jewish and Christian leaders, businessmen and high-ranking military officials, to speak at the conference entitled, “The Persecution of Christians Globally: A Threat to International Peace and Security.”

Wow, am I excited this morning! I woke up several hours before the sun was up with this letter to you on my mind! So much is happening in our world that cries out that we are living in the last days, the days just before our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ comes back to take us home to be with Him forever more. I am in my office retreat in our home, where I have peace and a place of quiet, so that I can talk to God and hear from Him! I cried out to God to bless you and all of those that He is bringing together to hear His word for the last days! I pray for you, that you will be in good health and be prepared to win souls in this “Harvest Time” that is about to come upon us!

This week after long research and development, what I believe to be one of the most important developments in our battle to stay healthy is finally off the assembly line! Carl Palmer, who created one of the greatest water purification bottles in the world that even takes out radiation, has just released his newest invention! Celebrating John Paul Jackson

Lori and I are so sad upon hearing that prophetic and loving friend, John Paul Jackson has gone to be with the Lord, but we celebrate for him as he gloriously goes home to be with Jesus!

John Paul’s life and ministry can be summed up by his own words:

“The light of God within us is a very powerful thing. We carry the One who searches the deep things of God (1 Corinthians 2:9–10). We carry the One who comes and breathes life into us when we choose to accept His salvation. That presence is the very presence of God, and that presence is light.

His light drove the darkness from us, and everywhere we go, we are revelations of His freedom. We don’t have to struggle and strive and try to achieve some heightened level of “power” in order to impact our environment — we are doing it now, simply because we belong to Him.

Anyone who ever met John Paul Jackson could see the Spirit and Light of God within him. His legacies are the millions who have been moved by his words and blessed by his presence. This precious man of God will be missed by us all!

Our prayers are with his wife Diane and the rest of his family and dear friends as they say goodbye to someone so very loved by them.

John Paul Jackson is now healed and wrapped in the arms of Jesus! Thank you, our amazing friend, for sharing the light of your life with us! One day we shall see your smiling face once again!

Remembering Our Dear Friend, Andrae’ Crouch

There is a piece of our hearts missing today as we remember our wonderful friend and true minister of song Andrae’ Crouch. We can only imagine the welcome and musical celebration for the man that truly revolutionized Contemporary Christian Music as he stepped into the presence of God!

Andrae’ Crouch deeply influenced and touched everyone in some way at this ministry! Recently Kevin Shorey said, “My hero and the reason I sing Gospel music today is because of the legend known as Andrae’ Crouch.”

Tammy Sue adores everything he has written and grew up learning and singing his music with all of her heart. But even our younger singers Harmony Hayes and Caleb Gordon have been deeply influenced by this blessed artist. Many of us have softly hummed his songs without even knowing it, bringing comfort when we need it and a way to celebrate our joy.

For Lori and me, this is a deeply personal loss. Andrae’ blessed me so many times by coming on the PTL show and on the Jim Bakker Show. He was and is the Father of Modern Gospel. His journey and mine crossed so many times and a wonderful friendship developed. He would minister to me in song and I hope I ministered to him as well.

Lori grew up with Grandma Char playing his music everywhere they went. His voice was a touchstone for their family. But what will forever be held precious in both Lori and my memories is our wedding day and how he poured out the song “My Tribute” bringing everyone together with the words ”To God be the Glory, To God be the Glory, To God be the Glory for the things He has done!”

We offer our heartfelt prayers for Andrae’s loved ones as they cope with such a loss! His legacy will surely bring them comfort! One day when it is my turn to stand before Jesus I will not be surprised to hear in the background a host of angels singing his songs with a resounding “Say Amen” from Andrae! Thank you Lord for such a man and the opportunity to know him!

In Memory of Donna Douglas

Heaven has gained a true Southern Belle leaving those of us that are left behind with a little less sunshine. We are very sad to say goodbye to our sweet and loving friend Donna Douglas. Lori and I remember so well her visit to the show and the enjoyment of getting to know the warm heart of this amazing woman of God.

Donna gained great fame as Elly May Clampett, the only daughter of Jed Clampett, in the popular television series “The Beverly Hillbillies”. When the show ended in 1971, generations continued to fall in love with her character through re-runs. Donna did not run from this fame but embraced it as the perfect way to share her faith and the message of Jesus Christ to all of her fans around the world.

There is no way to measure the many hearts touched by Donna in her lifetime and there will be those who will forever know her only as Elly May. But for all of us, Donna was our friend. We celebrate her life and we will truly miss her.

Christmas Community Outreach 2014

Some things are taught in a school and some things are taught within an experience. On December 13th, 2014, on a street called Grace, it wasn’t a head full of knowledge that mattered the most; it was a heart full of love that made the difference for over 400 people who live in the small and somewhat forgotten towns that surround Morningside village.

Pastors Jim and Lori Bakker rallied their entire staff and many volunteers to remember and SHOW that Christmas is one of the greatest opportunities to share the love of JESUS and His message of HOPE .

The building was packed with families who desperately needed help; many who were jobless and single moms who were struggling with two jobs to support their families. The stories were truly heartbreaking! Everyone here at the Jim Bakker Show and Morningside Church became unified to fulfill the mission of the gospel and spread with all of our hearts; hope, joy, love, and peace.

From the very start, inspiring music from Kevin Shorey, Caleb Gordon, Harmony Hayes, Kimberly Patrick and Kristi Blankenship literally charged the atmosphere with hope and fellowship. A huge breakfast buffet was served where everyone in the building was able to eat until they were full.

On behalf of Morningside and the generosity of our partners, Pastor Jim and his entire family gave away gifts in abundance featuring a flat screen color TV, a Wii gaming system, an inflatable kayak, camping tents, jewelry, bikes and toys of all kinds. The faces of those children and families are forever in our hearts. Their smiles completely lit up Morningside!

Excitement mounted as special guests were brought to the stage. First came Frosty the snowman, and when Santa came out children and adults broke into a rousing applause, but the guest that amazed the crowd was the star of the movie “Frozen”; Elsa. The kids rushed the stage and everyone sang and danced to the hit song from the movie “LET IT GO “. People were lost in a moment of joyful Christmas spirit!

Among the gifts here at Morningside was a photo booth and over 100 families got in line to get a family portrait to take home, compliments of the ministry. The children also got pictures with Frosty and Santa and of course Elsa. These are memories that will stay with these beautiful children and we wanted them to have that captured moment to remember.

It is in a spirit of love that people best hear the gospel message. Pastor Keven Shorey preached a beautiful and hopeful message of Jesus’s power to save. Heaven rejoiced as hundreds prayed a salvation prayer with tears rolling down their faces. And all of us felt the Spirit of the Lord embrace us all.

Towards the end of this remarkable afternoon, Pastor Jim Bakker opened up a room filled with every kind of gift you can imagine! There were tables full of them and every person was invited to shop. Right here at Morningside we had our own Black Friday, except it was Saturday and everything was free! Finally, as these wonderful families were leaving for their homes, every person was sent home with a grocery bag full of food all made possible by remarkable people giving to this ministry!

I wish you could have seen their faces and heard their stories! I also wish that you too could have experienced the atmosphere! It was like riding a hurricane of crazy cool, loving Jesus, giving and loving emotion!

God so Loved He gave His only Son- Every time we give…every time we share and love another person… its Christmas!

Grandma Maxine is Walking with Jesus

Our beloved Grandma Maxine left this earth and went to her heavenly home to be where she longed to walk with Jesus.

Lori and I, our children and grandchildren and the entire family of Morningside will miss her smile, her amazing love for all of us and her incredible ability to make anyone she met a part of her family. We have all been deeply honored and blessed to be a part of her life and share her joyful friendship and passion for our Lord!

Grandma Maxine was such a unique and loving presence in our family and was so very proud to be the first person to move into a condo here at Morningside. There was very little here at that time, but she brought the Light of Loving Jesus with her to this place and we have enjoyed every moment we have had with her!

The Celebration of her life will be held Sunday, December 7th here at Morningside 180 Grace Chapel Rd, Blue Eye, MO 65611 with Visitation beginning at noon CT, Memorial service at 1:00 P.M. CT and Burial at Bluff Cemetery, 269 Randall-Wobbe, Springdale, Arkansas, 72764 at 4:00 P.M.

The Memorial service will also be streamed on our website and Roku channel for those unable to attend.

We celebrate with great joy the life of Grandma Maxine and we ask for prayers for her son Jimmy and his wife Karen as they say goodbye with us. We will miss her very much!

A Christmas to Remember

Christmas is such a special time of year, isn’t it?

While most of the world associates Christmas with the thrill of giving and receiving gifts, eating wonderful foods that we only indulge in once a year, and creating special memories with our loved ones, Christians go just a little deeper into the real reason for the season!

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was born to take away our sin so that we can spend eternity in heaven! That’s a gift above and beyond anything we can think or imagine to give one another!

That precious gift to us from our Heavenly Father is why we celebrate Christmas!

This year, I encourage you to take every opportunity to tell someone about this wonderful Savior of ours, Jesus! Smile and warmly tell everyone you see ‘Merry Christmas!’ Let Christ shine through you. Show the world the JOY of Christmas!

You are probably already planning what to get your loved ones and friends. How many of us really remember the gifts we get at Christmas?

I’m glad gift-giving is easy for Lori and me because we have decided to give gifts that really say, “I love you.” Lori loves to create beautiful gift baskets with all of Seychelle’s wonderful products, and our friends and family love getting them! It’s the perfect way to say “I love you” and mean it!

Let’s make this a Christmas to remember by focusing our giving on important things, and not on frivolous things that will soon be forgotten!

Two dead, four wounded after student opens fire Washington state school

A student opened fire in the cafeteria of his Washington state high school on Friday, killing a classmate and wounding at least four others before he was killed amid the chaos of students scrambling to safety, authorities said.

All of the victims were young people, and three were in critical condition with gunshot wounds to the head and in surgery, said Joanne Roberts, chief of medicine at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett.

The fourth wounded victim suffered less serious injuries in the gunfire at Marysville-Pilchuck High School, about 30 miles north of Seattle, and had been transferred to another hospital. Two of the victims were male and two female, hospital officials said.
