Growing Pains

God has truly blessed this ministry in the last few months! Morningside and the Jim Bakker show are experiencing extreme growth at an incredible rate. Due to this rapid growth, we have moved and enlarged our shipping department. We have also been experiencing a glitch in our computer systems and we simply have not been able to keep up with our shipping orders which has caused us to fall behind.

We have been restructuring and our staff and volunteers are working day and night to complete these orders. A thousand packages a day are being shipped out of our facility here at Morningside. We wanted to take a moment to reassure you that if you are waiting for something you have ordered, you have not been forgotten!

We truly apologize for the delay in getting your love gifts to you and we cannot thank you enough for your understanding, support and patience. Your faith in what God is doing here at Morningside is the reason for our growth. Please know that all of us will continue to work harder than ever before to keep your faith and trust in us alive!

We’re on Roku!!

I am absolutely amazed and excited to announce that our Roku channel for the Generation Now Network has been officially approved. We are NOW LIVE on Roku!

It is truly humbling to see the quick work God is doing here at Morningside. This is an incredible victory that can be shared by all! The Lord gave me a Word just before the new year, declaring that 2014 would be the Year of Fulfilled Prophecies! Launching this network today is a fulfillment of prophecies that began years ago, coming through various prophets. Wow!

Standing firm alongside Morningside’s Flagship, The Jim Bakker Show, is the Generation NOW Show, the premiere television show for our media training school, Morningside Master’s Media. These two shows will soon be joined by several new shows in development at Morningside, The Kevin Shorey Show, The Zach Drew Show and of course the highly anticipated Spanish Show featuring Mondo De La Vega, all of which will be airing soon on our Roku channel. We will also be adding programs in the coming weeks with Cindy Jacobs, Rick Joyner, and many others.

I am incredibly amazed at what God has done and thrilled to be a part of the Morningside Family, I cannot wait to see what God will do here at Morningside and with the Generation Now Network!

A Super Bowl Prophet Blesses Grace Street

The man who told an NFL player he was going to be able to share Christ on a world stage through the Super Bowl blessed the opening night of the Fourth of July celebrations on Grace Street.

Hubie Synn, the man who knew New York Giants receiver David Tyree would do something in the Super Bowl that put him on the world stage, brought his grace and prophetic powers to Grace Street to share with those attending the evening service.

Hubie also was the vessel that God used to help a struggling writer move forward with his book: Rabbi Jonathan Cahn and his now New York Times bestselling book The Harbinger.

Hubie told those on Grace Street about the might of God in his life. He didn’t take any credit for the things the miraculous things that the Lord has done through him.

However, it wasn’t enough for Hubie to share his story and share the truth of God’s love and power. He took the time to walk through Grace Street and prophesy over everyone who was in attendance and bring wisdom from the Lord directly to His people.

Hubie’s appearance was God’s way to bring an opening night of power and prophecy to Grace Street!

Get Ready!

I just wanted to take a moment to tell you that I cannot remember a time that we have needed and appreciated your support any more than we do right at this moment! Lori and I want so much for you to be ready for anything and I know in my heart that something BIG is about to happen!

I am not the only one feeling this way! When Pastor John Hagee was here with us recently he said, “I think the message that God is sending to His children is that the King is coming. Get ready, get ready, get ready! The Son of God is about to appear in the clouds of Heaven and this world (as it is) is soon to be over.”

Both, Pastor Hagee and Pastor Mark Biltz are warning of major prophetic events surrounding the appearance of the ‘blood moons’ in conjunction with Israel’s Holy Feast Days. The signs in the heavens couldn’t be any more apparent, marking major prophetic events which will become clear as we wait on the Lord. The message right now is to get ready! My heart tells me that YOU also know something big is coming.

The situation in the Middle East with Israel is causing great concern. Israel is at the center of every conflict that is threatening to explode in that region, sending the entire world into chaos. The Bible makes it clear that how we deal with Israel is how God will deal with us (Genesis 12:3).

William Koening, author of the bestselling book Eye to Eye and Washington news correspondent, came to share his perspective on the consequences of dividing Israel’s land. William said, “Pressuring Israel into peace talks is going to have consequences. The greater the pressure on Israel, the greater the corresponding catastrophe.” With the unfortunate decisions being made recently in regard to Israel, we will not have to wait long to see the consequences.

Our friend John Shorey has been spending the week with us on our show passing on the revelations that he experienced during the last blood moon. What he said only adds to my urgency to do whatever I can to help others get ready. “When events start to unfold that makes many aware of the need to prepare at once, the prep food industry will be overwhelmed. The Bible teaches that events leading to the Lord’s return will catch many unaware. It’s sad that many of those who will be caught ill prepared will be Christians.”

We don’t know what is coming, as much as we know something big is coming! Whatever it is, all of our guests agreed that the major and most immediate crisis will be a food shortage. Experts say it will only take 3 days for food to disappear from the grocery store’s shelves in a major catastrophic event, so what you have in your cupboards won’t last long!

Our Miraculous Father

These past few months have been very joyful, eventful and challenging all at the same time, especially for Lori.

You might already know that she has been going through a very serious health crisis which required her to take a medicine that made her extremely sick. A brand new alternative medicine was available, but it cost one hundred thousand dollars and her insurance had never approved it before. Continue reading →

Cinco de Mayo Arrives at Morningside!

“Buenos Dias”, “Gracias” and “Ole” were commonly spoken words around Morningside during our celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Morningside was transformed into a festive atmosphere with bright decorations and special events for three days. May 4th, 5th, and 6th on Grace Street was reminiscent of Old Mexico. An air of excitement and expectancy was sensed by everyone attending.

This was the first time that Morningside held a Cinco de Mayo festival. The event was designed as an outreach to the surrounding spanish communities as well as a fundraiser for a local Branson church, El Tabernaculo de David. Many vendors came with specialty items, collectibles, delicious desserts, authentic Mexican treats, etc. Continue reading →

One Second After

God has really shown us His favor and we have booked some of the most knowledgeable people on the planet to speak to the concerns we face as Christians in today’s world. People are responding with urgency that we haven’t seen before – and that is a good thing! That shows that the body of Christ is waking up and moving, and preparing for perilous times! (2 Timothy 3:1)

One of our recent guests, Michael Maloof, the author of “A Nation Forsaken” and an expert in the threat of EMP attacks, brought home the fact that it would take very little to bring down the entire American power grid and thrust us immediately into the dark ages. He warned of small scale, as well as large scale attacks designed to maximize confusion and panic: the result being over 200 million (projected) deaths from starvation and disease. Jim Bakker Show Helps Victims of Natural Disasters

Dr. Paul Williams is an amazing, unusual medical doctor. He is like an emergency room doctor, only the world is his emergency room. He goes to where there is crisis and does what is needed to alleviate suffering. He represents the Jim Bakker Show and Morningside Church many, many times like in Haiti and in the Philippines. “I love having somebody out there I trust when we’re sending money or we’re sending food, or when we send water bottles for purification,” said Pastor Jim Bakker.

Dr. Williams was on the scene in the Philippines after the catastrophic typhoon Haiyan in November of 2013. He stated, “hundreds of thousands of people were displaced and 7,000 people died…” All of the electricity was down, and without electricity, nothing works including water pumps.

Dr. Williams turned to the Jim Bakker Show for help.

He needed pumps for water, but they couldn’t be electrical pumps. They had to be operable without electricity. So, the Jim Bakker Show and Morningside Church provided Dr. Williams with the non-electric Divvy unit, which provides about 2,500 gallons of fresh, safe water per day and works by manual pumping.

The Divvy water pump unit was provided to Dr. Williams from a portion of the funds supplied by the friends and partners of the Jim Bakker Show and Morningside Church when they ordered their own water purification products. “Some people don’t understand what happens when the wells go dry,” said Pastor Jim during a recent show taping with Dr. Williams.

“The eye of the storm actually went over this particular island, and so all their water sources were contaminated. They had to buy water and it was costing them several dollars per gallon. With this particular Divvy unit, the cost was down to about 2 cents per gallon for the people. So they were able to afford the water and have safe water to drink,” said Dr. Williams.

A message from a local missionary, Glenn Garrison, stated that hundreds of people daily are being serviced with this one pump.

Dr. Williams is out there in the crises representing the Lord Jesus, and he is also representing the Jim Bakker Show and Morningside Chruch and all of our partners and friends. He was on the scene down in Haiti with Seychelle water bottles sent to him from the Jim Bakker Show family.

During the show taping, Dr. Williams told of another situation in the Philippines where there is a dire need of a water pump. Little children are actually dipping water from a spring near a garbage dump to drink, which is their only water source. This horrendous situation actually caused Dr. Williams to physically break down crying.

Pastor Jim immediately answered the need and directed the ministry to release funds for another Divvy unit to be sent to this particular region. “Dr. Williams has been there, he is overseeing it, and he is working with missionaries,” Pastor Jim said.

Dr. Williams also noted that the Jim Bakker Show had answered the need for food supplies in these crisis situations as well. Over 40,000 servings of emergency food were sent to the Philippines during the typhoon. Frank Davis of Food for Health matched that amount and sent another 40,000 packets!

“I’m committed to what you do. When you see it, you’re our eyes out there,” Pastor Jim said to Dr. Williams.

“I felt like I was walking in the divine purposes of God,” said Dr. Williams about his trip to the Philippines.

The Jim Bakker Show and Morningside Church, along with our friends and partners, feel that way too.

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink… Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

For every Extreme Sport Water Bottle ordered through the Jim Bakker Show, a portion goes to help Dr. Williams in his endeavors to help suffering people world-wide.

God’s Ark of Safety

The Church standing together is God’s ark of safety for the Last Days. God has been speaking to me about not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together (Hebrews 10:25) and that’s what we’re doing in many different ways throughout this ministry.

There are literally millions of people that come together every day to watch our daily broadcast, watch live streaming on our website and stay connected through our social media! This is what you are a part of – and it’s bigger than any single one of us alone. Together we are stronger and safer because God designed it that way!

This has been one of the most brutal winters in history. Records have been broken daily! Not only have we had cold, cold, cold weather, but we have also seen extreme drought, like in California. This drought has caused our fruit and vegetable prices to skyrocket because much of what we see on our produce shelves is grown in the state of California!

It’s shocking to see a single piece of fruit costing two or three dollars! It’s not hard to see why the Revelation says that a loaf of bread will cost a whole day’s wages in the End Times (Revelation 6:6)! Food will never be any cheaper than it is right now!

As you stay in the Word, you begin to understand more and more about the Times we are living in. Even the Revelation becomes clearer as we learn about each piece. We don’t want you to have just a piece here and a piece there, but we want you to see whole picture!

If we stick together and keep hearing from anointed people like those we are bringing to you on our broadcasts, we will be far more prepared for anything that comes our way.

Always remember that God loves you – He really does! And we love you too!
