The End of America’s Childhood

There are so many prophetic things happening right now. God is constantly speaking to His people through prophetic events and if you have ears to hear, eyes to see, and hearts to understand (Matthew 13:13-17), you will be able to recognize and respond appropriately to prophecy.

When you have a prophetic spirit, God will speak through natural events and happenings that seem ordinary to most people, but to the one with prophetic perception, it’s like the red lights of prophecy are flashing all around you! Continue reading

Hobby Lobby Draws Broad Support In Lawsuit Against ACA

Hobby Lobby, who has filed a lawsuit against the Affordable Care Act because of its regulations forcing them to violate their religious beliefs, is finding a broad base of support for their suit.

“Where else do you see Catholics, evangelicals, Mormons, Muslims, Hindus and Jews coming together?” Lori Windham, senior counsel for the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty asked. “Religious freedom is important to Americans of all faiths, and we hope the Supreme Court will protect that freedom.”

The owner of Hobby Lobby, David Green, said that his chain would close rather than have the Obama Administration force their beliefs on his family and company.

Hobby Lobby has openly operated through Christian principles since its founding in 1972. The store closes on Sundays, donates more than 10% to charity and pays its employees more than the minimum wage.

The Affordable Care Act forces employers to provide abortion-causing drugs to their employees which Christian business owners say violates their religious freedom.

Pope On Cover of Rolling Stone

The secular world’s love of Pope Francis continues to climb. On February 13th, the Pope will be the first pontiff to be featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

The article is titled “Pope Francis: The Times They Are A-Changin’” and covers the Pope from his ascension to the papacy to his controversial comments regarding homosexuality and economics.

“As the archbishop of Buenos Aires, [Jorge Mario] Bergoglio had never been an especially gifted public speaker,” writer Mark Binelli put in the piece. “But now that he’s Pope Francis, his recognizable humanity comes off as positively revolutionary.”

The Pope has been the toast of secular publications in the last year. He’s been named Time’s Person of the Year, Vanity Fair Italia’s “Man of the Year” and he’s even graced the cover of The New Yorker in December.

He’s also been named “Person of the Year” by gay rights publication The Advocate.

A Washington Post-ABC poll shows that 69% of Americans have a favorable impression of the Pope with only a 14% unfavorable rating.

Possible Fake Terror Attack Near Super Bowl

Hotels near MetLife Stadium, the site of this year’s Super Bowl, are on lock down after police discovered several letters mailed there that contained a powdery substance.

A letter was also mailed to the New York office of former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

A law enforcement official said one of the envelopes is negative for any dangerous substance and was likely baking soda.

The Joint Terrorism Task Force and Hazard Materials units responded to multiple locations.

Hackensack University Medical Center received a handful of people for evaluation from various hotels but the powder had sickened no one.

Police said that they intercepted several envelopes in a mail truck before they were delivered to a Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn. Eight workers from the mailroom that processed the letters went through decontamination as a precaution.

Woman Arrested For Stun Gunning Children

A Florida woman is under arrest after she reportedly used stun guns to punish children under her care.

Letina Smith, 41, was arrested after three children under 9-years-old told police that she had used a “pink, rectangle shaped” machine with “two points of electricity”on them when she said they misbehaved.

Investigators say they were able to interview the children after being alerted by officials at Sunrise Elementary School.

Officials could not say what the relationship is with the children. She was jailed on just $3,000 bond.

Super Bowl Security Targeting Bomb Threats

New Jersey State Police are using the attacks near the Sochi Olympics site as a model for security for this weekend’s Super Bowl.

Law enforcement was quick to add they had no specific threats toward the Super Bowl that required bomb detection.

“Of particular concern to us is what was going on overseas in Volgograd in regard to the Sochi Olympics. As you know both of those bombings were targeting mass transit,” New Jersey State Police spokesman Rick Fuentes told reporters. “That is a concern with the mass transit; we’ve prepared ourselves for it.”

Officials have limited parking near MetLife Stadium forcing tens of thousands attending the game to use public transportation to arrive at the game site. The stadium has been locked down all week and people will travel at least 10 miles from New York City via public transit.

New York Police Department Commissioner William Bratton told reporters that the city was using “advanced intelligence gathering operations” developed in the wake of the 9/11 attacks.

Christian College Changes Nickname And Bow To “Global Society”

A Christian college is bowing to the whims of the world and changing the school’s nickname into something that’s not “outdated”.

Maranatha Baptist University of Watertown, Wisconsin has announced they are dropping the nickname “Crusaders” because they want to appeal to a “more global society.” The school and its athletic teams have been the Crusaders since their founding in 1968.

The school claims it wasn’t done for political correctness.

“Our world has changed since 9/11 and we’ve become a more global society with the Internet,” Executive Vice President Matt Davis told Fox News. “The heartbeat behind this was not political correctness, but expanded opportunities for our students.”

A director of the Council of American-Islamic Relations told Fox that he welcomed the name change from “Crusaders.”

Remembering Rose Marie Goff

To our Partners and Friends,

Our beloved friend, resident and dear member of the body of Christ, Rose Marie Goff went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2014. Lori and I are deeply saddened by the loss of this beautiful and vibrant lady.

We ask that you please remember her husband Dale and all of the family and friends that are grieving at this time.

Rose Marie and Dale are very close to me as I had the great privilege of uniting them in marriage on our show. We will be honoring her memory on a television broadcast in the future. Thousands of people have come to know and love Rose Marie through the sharing and witnessing of their marriage and her many appearances on our broadcast. This loss will be felt by so many.

We are ALL so sad at this time but also so thrilled that Rose Marie is now walking the golden streets of heaven with the one she loved most; Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is now pain free and tear free and has gone to a place especially prepared for her by God.

II Corinthians 5:8 “To be apart from the body means to be present with the Lord. “

We pray now for those of us left behind who will truly and deeply miss her.

In Loving Memory of Paul Crouch

Jim Bakker & Paul Crouch

Our hearts are saddened by the news of Paul Crouch’s passing. Paul’s great accomplishment of building the world’s largest conglomerate of Christian television networks and stations is his living legacy that will continue to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to millions around the world.

Paul’s passion for broadcasting influenced my life as a young boy when he was youth pastor of the church I attended in Muskegon, Michigan. Later on in life we worked together in the early years of Trinity Broadcasting Network. Paul Crouch is truly one of the fathers of Christian television.
