I am writing a series of blogs on the shows we just taped with Kathy Troccoli because I can’t help but do all I can do to get this word out – it is so powerful! Kathy is not just a singer, she’s a Voice that God has given to the Body of Christ with a Message for the Times.
Let me first just say that if you didn’t catch the live shows with Kathy Troccoli, PLEASE be sure to catch the broadcasts when they air in your area. These shows are some of the most powerful healing shows we have ever taped, and I can’t help but believe that God wants to heal so many of His precious ones because it’s time! We are so close to His Second Coming and yet there are so many hurting, broken people. When we operate out of our pain, we continue to hurt others and that needs to stop! It needs to stop in our own lives so that it can stop in the lives of others. A wounded spirit touches everything around it – and wounds again whatever it touches. READ MORE →
I just want to thank you all. I have literally felt the prayers of the saints during this process of taking these medications to get well. I know that God is the Great Physician and He is the one who gives medical help so I’m grateful for the process I’m going through even though it’s rough some days.
In the past year or so, I watched my body decline in different areas and I thought my liver was having a hard time. But, I felt an urgency that I had to get well because of the days we’re living in. I had to be strong for what God has for us to do!
Jim always thanks me for coming and sitting next to him on the shows when I really should be home in bed. But that’s my place and my joy because that is what God has given us to do and I want to do it to the best of my ability. READ MORE →
One thing I know for sure is that sin has consequences. I’m urging you to not make the same mistakes I did. I have had to deal with sin’s consequences in my body.
For me those consequences showed up as Hepatitis C and all the side effects of this horrible disease. Plus, my five abortions ended in my not being able to later have children. My last aborted baby had not been totally removed and resulted in a life-threatening infection. I had to have an emergency hysterectomy.
I have never cried more tears than I have these last few months. I have never allowed God to deal with me in a sweet loving way like I have recently. I always felt I didn’t deserve it. I felt so unworthy. What my body has suffered over the years is because of my own wrong doing – bad choices. READ MORE →
On one of our recent shows that Jim was taping without me (because I was just too ill to come to the set) he mentioned that I had to get well so that I could run Lori’s House. I just want you all to know that there is no greater motivation for me than to know that Lori’s House will be operating soon and we will be saving tiny, innocent lives. Can you imagine anything that would touch the heart of God more? Jesus said pure and undefiled religion is taking care of the widows and orphans (James 1:27) and with the help of our partners and friends, we will do it very soon here at Morningside! We can do many ‘good works’ that we think please God, but with this effort, we can know it does!
Statistics have confirmed that in this country, 40% of all women have had abortions – almost half! Until recently, that statistic was 25% or 1 out of every 4, supporting the fact that abortion is becoming more and more prevalent. In this country alone, we have aborted over 55 million (and counting) babies. Abortion does more than stop an innocent heart from beating. The long-term effects of having an abortion are proven to be debilitating for women of all ages. READ MORE →
My readers often ask me how I do it – how I manage my life with all that I have to do – and this health issue I am going through. The short answer is “I don’t” and the long answer is “He gives me grace”.
I will soon write another book and you will get the inside scoop of what it’s like to be a restored woman in a high profile ministry, married to a dynamic visionary, and raising children – whew! My life and ministry, even with all its challenges, is a gift for which I am very grateful – but one which has been and continues to be very demanding
I will always be completely open and transparent about everything because I believe that people are looking for other REAL people, not people wearing masks or personas. The Lord knows we have enough of those kind of people! Some have said that it’s just TMI (too much information) and I need not tell every little detail of my life! READ MORE →
Over the years, one thing that has troubled me deeply and that I’ve asked Jim and our show guests about is, “Where were the Christians when they took prayer out of school?” Of course, many, like Jim, were doing everything they could to stop this travesty. But once it started, it was like a snowball rolling downhill, gaining momentum and strength. Though there were individuals who were preaching, teaching and proclaiming that taking prayer out of schools would lead to all kinds of moral decay, the resistance lacked unity and the result was a dismal failure. They succeeded in taking prayer out of schools, and it was because Christians of all denominations couldn’t get it together enough to stand in one accord and say, “oh no you don’t!”
America’s moral decline rapidly accelerated following this one event – the U.S. Supreme Court’s removal of prayer from our nation’s schools. On June 25, 1962, 39 million students were prohibited from doing what they and their parents before them had been doing since we became a nation – publicly calling upon the name of the Lord at the beginning of each school day. I have shared on the show how I am dealing with the fallout of some wild and crazy years when I was younger. This situation I now face with my health is requiring treatment that makes me physically ill – but will, in the long run, rid my body of this condition that is trespassing on God’s temple!
If you have watched our show, you know that Jim and I are not “religious” about the things of God, and we don’t put God in a box based on a certain way of thinking. That’s why we’re okay with however God chooses to deal with this affliction. God could heal me in a split second, but if He chooses the medicinal route, who am I to question His wisdom? He knows best in all things, and I trust Him with every aspect of my life, both now and forever.
I have always loved and trusted God, even in the crazy years. I know that sounds weird, but it’s true. God never left me, though I left Him for a season. He never stopped wooing me back, and He never stopped showing me that the path I was on was not what He intended for me. The prayers of my Mother and others came before the Lord constantly. It’s really amazing how faithful God is and how He fulfills certain prophetic words that He may have given you many, many years before. This past week, I was so sick that I couldn’t go down to the service at Morningside to hear Ricky, my 16-year-old son preach, but I watched him on the live stream.
I was so proud as I saw this figure of a dark curly haired young man in a suit with a Bible walking up to the podium. And then suddenly, I heard the Lord say, “today is the fulfillment of the prophecy I showed you in a vision long ago about your son.”
I was astounded. It was like “Throwback Thursday” when we post things on the web that were from times past. God had given me this flashback of a vision from my early walk with Him. Let me tell you about it. READ MORE →
I am so excited about our upcoming Ready Now Expo on March 10th – 14th! We have some of the most knowledgeable speakers and presenters on the planet joining us with information about ultimate survival strategies and products that we have found through extensive research.
There’s a song with a line that says, “I don’t care how you get here, just get here if you can!” That’s the way I feel about this Expo! Do everything you can to get here because this is one you don’t want to miss.
It’s been weighing heavy on my heart recently about why people should be prepared for anything! It’s more than just about not going hungry, which pulls on the heartstrings. None of us want our families to go hungry! Most of us would do just about anything to keep our loved ones alive – to keep them from starving to death in a famine. Wouldn’t we? READ MORE →
I’ve talked quite a bit about being a Baby Boomer and the phenomenon surrounding that mega-group of people born between 1946 and 1964. Baby Boomers have a unique set of challenges, some brought on by choice, and others a result of chance.
One of the challenges of a country with so many Baby Boomers is how to provide health care for this aging demographic because the generation before and the generations after were simply not as large. We thought we had the problem figured out with Social Security and Medicare but now we are finding that these social programs will have trouble keeping up with the demand for caring for an aging mega-group such as the Baby Boomers, particularly as this group lives longer.
But the problem of health care for the Boomers is only one issue they (we) are facing. Since many of the Boomers were encouraged by society to wait longer for marriage and family, or it just happened that way, some are still raising children and sometimes grandchildren while they also care for aging parents, a.k.a The Sandwich Generation. They are the ones in the middle with all the pressure! READ MORE →
