God is Not the Author of Confusion

Here it is, the Christmas season, and though it is a time of family gathering and festivity everywhere, there is a solemnity that many are feeling… like a calm before a huge storm.  Something is about to happen that will shake our world and test our faith.  I believe that what’s coming will either result in a ‘falling away’ or a ‘getting closer’ to God in the next few months.

2012 is a year unparalleled in the amount of speculation about some soon-coming calamity.  Books have been written, movies made and a great deal of talk shows produced in efforts to get a glimpse into the projected events of 2012.  Will the world end?  Will some cataclysmic event destroy our planet?  Will millions perish of some world-wide pandemic?  Will volcanoes, earthquakes and other natural disasters rearrange our world’s landscape?

What can we know for sure about this highly anticipated apocalyptic year?

Some people go to psychics, some go to the scientific community, some to the writings of ancient civilizations to determine what will happen to our world in 2012.  As for me, I go to the Word of God, the Bible – that ancient text authored by God himself through his holy people.  Then I go to the Lord in prayer and listen for His voice.  That’s the voice we can trust and the Bible the final authority.  The Lord said “my sheep hear my voice,” and I know that to be true.

As a watchman of the Lord, he has given me several specific words for 2012.  The first and most outstanding  word is “CONFUSION.”  2012 will be a year of confusion beyond anything we have ever experienced before in our nation and in our world, not just confusion, but mass confusion.

Yet, the Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 14:33 that “God is not the author of confusion…”  The Church, that Body of Believers that are born again and listening to His voice, should NOT be confused!  If God is not the author of confusion, that means it’s coming from satan.  The spirit of the anti-christ is disorder.

It’s almost ironic that 12 is the Biblical number for perfect order, just exactly the opposite of confusion.  God needs His Church to be in full force and in divine order so that we can be winning souls in the midst of a confused world.  The Church will be the new ‘ark’ in the confusing days ahead.  This could be the last full year we have to get our house in order and to get prepared for what’s coming!

In 2012, confusion is going to manifest in uncertainties, misunderstandings, good being spoken of as evil, disorder and turmoil of every kind.   If ever there was a time to “know what we know,” it’s now.  It’s time to get in the Word, because deception is coming!  The Word of God is truth and it leaves no room for bewilderment or perplexity.  It will dispel any darkness with its Light!

The Lord told me that first, there would be a great earthquake in Japan, and then total collapse of the world’s economy.  I can’t tell you the day, I can’t tell you the month or the week, but I can tell you that an economic collapse is imminent.

Get your house ready and get your Church ready to be that ark of safety as the confusion swirls all around.  Be fully persuaded in your heart and in your mind that you will be steadfast and sure because the Word of God lives within you, and you know His voice.  This is going to be a year of soul winning because those who know God’s voice will have wisdom to guide them and love to sustain them.  They will not be confused – but instead, they will be steadfast and sure.  Jesus is coming soon and we are looking for Him!

God loves YOU, He really does!

  1. Thank you Anonymous for that advice. I am right now doing my best to clean my closets and donate what my family doesn’t need or use to others who can benefit. I believe all Christians should be organizing and straightening up our homes, our lives, our finances, and our priorities with the Lord. May you be blessed for your wonderful words of encouragement.

  2. A few thoughts on organization.
The impact of confusion and disorder is
more noticeable under pressure. It exaggerates the trouble.
And, like a diamond formed from carbon,
the beauty of organization can be highlighted under pressure.

Here in the East, we experienced tropical storm Irene this past summer.
I felt like the Lord said it was a dress rehearsal.
Weeks later, a snow storm in October left us without power for 9 days.
The snow fell so quickly and was so heavy, that trees and limbs cracked, snapped and fell pretty much all night. It was so dangerous we weren’t safe to leave the house to check on our next door neighbor, and could barely let the dog outside safely. Transformers were blowing up. Roads were impassable. John Deere heavy equipment cleared the roads. Phone lines down like spaghetti across the roads. Cell towers out.
Times like ths you find out how important organization is.
Do you know where your flashlights and batteries are? Are you prepared if you lose power for 2 or more weeks? Do you have a generator AND know how to use it? (One family ran theirs in the basement and almost died.) Do you have the means to cook without your usual electricity? Have you actually tried it? Have you located the radio that can run on a battery? Do you know which size battery it takes? Do you have a CO detector? (highly recommended).
Do you have the means to charge your electronic devices? The Bakkers offer a nice one! People were charging theirs WHEREVER they could- including grocery store outlets.
Do you have the phone #’s of the ones you love? Have you discussed what to do in case you can’t reach other? Does your elderly mother out-of-state have a plan B if you cannot get to her- or even reach her by phone?
Are you keeping at least a half tank of gas in the car at all times? We had such gas lines that fights were breaking out and police were monitoring. One person even pulled a gun out because another had 7 5-gal jugs to fill! People were running out of gas and could not refill because there was no power at the pumps for so many days, even though the gas was there.
Do you have a plan for your pets? It gets cold w/o power. Not all the shelters accept pets.
And- this is a big one – do you have room for a neighbor if they need a place to go? Our big storm encouraged a lot of community and leaning on each other for resources, to get along. There are amazing opportunities to provide for another in the name and love of Jesus. BUT if you have not organized your home for that person or family, you will miss that opportunity. We did. And I was sorry I was not ready.
I know this was long, but hope it helps illustrate things a little. Most of us have more to do than we realize. Our family learned that here recently. Keep asking the Lord what to do.

  3. Let’s pray
The year 2012 is a year of
    ORGANIZATION
Sort things out, keeping only what is needed
Straighten up, putting everything into order
Scrub clean, means neat and tidy
Standardize and Sustain, establish routines, procedures and discipline
These are the habits of highly successful people
    Get ORGANIZED

  4. I eagerly look forward to what miracles and deliverance we will see our God do in the new year. I hear you about staying in the Word and knowing it…it is our survival to know His Word so we can discern truth from lies. I am praying for wisdom and guidance as I want to be in the center of the will of God. I believe many will have to make a decision…and not be lukewarm but be either cold or hot…because God needs people who will serve Him and trust Him. Pastor Jim , you and Lori have been faithful to the call of God and I am certain that as the days approach, we shall see and hear more from God. I am preparing as best I can and urge anyone I know to do so as well. Some do not pay attention but some do. Thank you for being faithful to the call of God on your life….both you and Lori went through so much in the life education so that you could minister to others. He is working all the pain and heartache both of you have been through for good…as Romans 8:28 says….I am praying for you..God Bless you ..(hugs)MyMy

  5. Two years ago, the Lord said to pray for Japan for there would be a great earthquake. I prayed for a while and then forgot about it. Last December, the Lord led me through a dream to continue to pray for Japan and several months later, the big earthquake happened.

Two days ago, the Lord said to pray for Japan, so I have been praying for Japan remembering what happened the last time He said that. So your message is a confirmation from the Lord. Jesus loves Japan and He wants us to pray for salvation of many souls there.

  6. Your words ring with Truth. I am concerned for many in the body of Christ, because they have not hidden God’s Word in their heart. We have seen prayer taken out of school. The 10 Commandments pulled away. The Cross of Christ, taken down or covered up so as not to offend someone. There are those who are offended with the Nativity Scene. What if someone decides the Bible, the Word of God is offensive. That it offends them to see people carrying their Bibles. What if that were to be taken away. And if many, multitudes of God’s people have relied on the minister or teacher to tell them what it says. I don’t know if that will happen. I never expected prayer to be offensive, or the 10 Commandments, the Cross or Nativity Scene. Without prayer we become weak, without the 10 Commandments we have no guideline. Without the Cross, oh my. For Jesus said if I be lifted up I will draw all men to me. Then the Nativity Scene where we are reminded that God so loved us he gave. I am of the persuasion that we need to hide God’s Word in our hearts, that it become the very fiber of our being. It is our weapon against the advesary. If we know what God’s Word says and fear or anxiety, anger, whatever vexes our mind we can say wait a minute. God’s Word says. But if the Word is taken away and not inscribed upon our hearts where are we. I pray often that I not be deceived by anyone. That God’s Word become a living, breathing part of me. Good Word Jim

  7. Pastor Jim,
Thank you for the Word of God and the warning for 2012. Knowing what lies ahead helps the church prepare. In the midst of confusion we can have peace as we stay close to our Good Shepherd. Remember 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” Thanks again for your ministry in helping the Body of Christ. May you and your family enjoy a blessed Christmas and find rest for the coming year.
    God Bless!

  9. Dear Sir,

God is Not the Author of Confusion

    Confusion.

Thank you for your wise words.
I believe the world will be in confusion without the love of Jesus in their lives. The more I read the Holy bible the more clear minded I become and I can see that people will be confused in this world if they carry on living without a sincere belief of god in their lives. People seemed to be very concerned with the way their lives are going and resort to looking back in history for answers. Some people look into the future, look for reassurance, like taking out some insurance policy, and this will give them comfort. I myself find comfort through Jesus’ love this very second, now in the present; Jesus is available to everyone for free this very moment; it just takes ‘faith’ in him the size of a mustard seed, very tiny amounts of faith, sincere faith and bingo, he’s in your life giving feelings of twenty four seven love, the type of love that money can’t buy.
Your main point of confusion though Sir certainly comes from the devil, I believe and are the seeds of doubt which are sowed in that particular individuals garden of their soul. The seeds of Jesus’ love are all that is required, and they are free. The person seemed to be confused and brought some weeds or thistle seeds instead of the beautiful faith in Jesus seeds.

James 3:16 KJV For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work….

So like James tells us confusion is equal to envying and stife. Those seeds of envy, those seeds of strife polluting the person’s garden, unnecessarily so.

Thanks again for your divine insight,
    God bless,

    Stephen
