Grateful for You All

I was overwhelmed with emotion and gratitude by the responses to my most recent blog “For the Sake of the Call.”  You can’t imagine how much your encouraging words mean as we endeavor to stay faithful to the call of ministry.

The truth is that spiritual warfare has increased and is increasing every day – for everybody.  John Paul Jackson was with us last week and we talked about many of the reasons we are all experiencing increased warfare.  If you didn’t get to see the live stream, be sure to watch the regular programming schedule for when the shows will air.

The bottom line in spiritual warfare in the Last Days is that we need each other.  The Body of Christ needs to band together and fight for one another like we’ve never done before!  The Bible says one can put a thousand to flight, but two can put ten thousand to flight (Deut 32:30).

I remember an illustration I heard a while ago about oxen.  Just one ox can pull a great deal of weight, but when you yoke the two together, they pull ….I think it was 7 times what one alone could pull.

Now that’s an illustration for the End Times!

If you haven’t read Rick Joyner’s book, The Final Quest, you need to get it and read it.  It’s a very graphic depiction of how Christians are being attacked and the warfare involved.  The saddest part about the book is that well-meaning Christians were actually shooting each other instead of directing their arrows at the enemy.

I know it may be hard to know exactly who is with you, and who you can trust… especially as the days get more and more evil.  But if you love God, you will love His people, so you have no other choice but to draw closer and closer to Him so that your discernment is sharp and even more important, so that you are passionate about God’s love for His own.

Let’s love each other better in the days ahead.  Let’s learn not to shoot our own wounded.  Let’s learn to fight FOR each other – recognizing that we, ourselves, need help from time-to-time.

I’m grateful for you all.

Love,

  1. Dear Lori,
I am praying for your “house” to be completely paid for because even if there are guilt or sin ladened people listening it might benefit them to give an offering as it does not buy repentance but it goes along way in recompence for sin. Even the heathen can save lives.Just do not think we should be struggling to save children’s lives, even the ungodly have children.
Tell Fred and Jetta I’m praying for them. Your loved and favored. Your friend in Christ,

  2. Lori,

Thank you for stirring faith back up ! It is so true that we need one another and the adgenda of the enemy is to keep families distracted, divided and isolated so that they are not accountable to each other in prayer and covering. My husband and I, along with our three natural daughters and their families have allowed weariness to come in a battle we have been fighting for the four children we adopted. So much comes with taking these children out of the realm of darkness and raising them in Kingdom ways that I guess we just got lost in that and nearly “fainted” in the effort. I am calling a family counsel to regroup, put God back at the helm and step back into the place of peace as he performs HIS perfect will in their lives 🙂 Thank you for being so very honest and candid so that the rest of us can grasp hope 😉

  3. I want to personally thank you for answering the call. Your and JIm’s transparency and honesty have been an encouragement to me in some of my roughest times. Knowing that through your trials and tribulations you have been able to allow God to deliver you and make you examples of God’s grace has given me the strength to push forward. Trophies of God’s grace are what you both are! I grew up Jewish and God revealed to me that Jesus was Messiah many years ago. Many people who I love have walked out of my life for my beliefs in Jesus. I also many days have felt like giving up. But always remember how Jesus was persecuted by the ones he loved the most. His own people rejected him.. How much more will we go through. But all the suffering pales in comparison to the love of God and the joy he brings. The Joy of the Lord is our strength. God Bless you and your entire family. I will be praying for you!

    • Dear Denise, Thank you for your words of encouragement and may the Lord richly bless you. Jim and Lori

  4. You said it Lori, we all need each other. I pray everyday that God will strengthen me not only physically, but most of all spiritually so I am ready for whatever this world throws at me. I’m glad you are finding comfort in your difficult days. I saw John Paul Jackson minister to Jim today and God just reminded me we all need each other for love and encouragement. I’m so glad to know so many were there to encourage you. Keep smiling Lori! God loves us so much

  5. I WATCH MOST OF THE PROGRAMS FROM THE CAMPER ON THE BIG T.V. AS IT HAS CLOSED CAPTIONED. I LOVE TO COME IN AND SEE THEM LIVE, BUT THE HEARING IMPAIRMENT GETS IN THE WAY. IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL IF THERE WAS SOMEONE WHO COULD TAKE NOTES FOR ME SO I WOULD AT LEAST BE ABLE TO KEEP UP WITH WHAT IS GOING ON.
I’M VERY EXCITED AND BLESSED AS A WRITER TO BE CREATING THE VERY FIRST RECIPE BOOK AS A FUND-RAISER FOR LORI’S HOUSE. I JUST FEEL IN MY HEART THAT IT WILL BE A BIG SUCCESS AS I ALREADY HAVE PEOPLE ASKING ME WHEN THE BOOK WILL BE READY, AS THEY WISH TO PURCHASE ONE. MY INTENTION IS FOR IT TO NOT ONLY SELL IN THE GENERAL STORE BUT HOPING THAT YOU AND JIM WILL OFFER THE RECIPE BOOK TO YOUR VIEWING AUDIENCE SO THAT THEY MAY ALSO BE ABLE TO PURCHASE ONE. I’M SURE THEY WILL LIKE IT AND SPREAD THE WORD TO ALL OF THEIR FRIENDS WHO MAY ALSO BE INTERESTED IN PURCHASING ONE. I KNOW SEVERAL PEOPLE OUT OF STATE THAT WANT TO PURCHASE ONE AS WELL. I AM WORKING HARD ON IT AND HAVE BEEN FOR 4 MONTHS, TRYING TO GET THE PEOPLE TO SUBMIT THEIR RECIPES FOR IT. WITH THE LORD’S BLESSINGS I WILL ATTEMPT TO GET IT PUBLISHED NO LATER THAN JUNE AND BY THE BEGINNING OF JULY IT CAN BE SOLD. MY PRAYER IS THAT THE PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THE RECIPE BOOK WILL BENEFIT THE HOUSE AND WILL BE USED FOR THAT NEED WHATEVER IT MAY BE. BLESS YOU AND JIM FOR YOUR WORK AND I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO THE GRAND OPENING OF LORI’S HOUSE AND I KNOW THAT GOD’S BLESSINGS WILL BE THERE. JESUS LOVED THE CHILDREN. HE WILL BLESS YOU AND ALL WHO HAD A PART IN BRINGING THIS TOGETHER AS WELL AS CONTINUING TO SUPPORT IT…

  6. Hi Lori
Thank you so much for your word today. My family and I have been so wounded by the church and we ended up leaving all together, tho’ we still love and follow Christ and His people. Just resently I heard the Holy Spirit say to me “it’s time to get back in there.” After five years of being gone it is so hard. Your words have been very encouraging to me and I appreciate your honesty. When we visited Mark was such an encouragement to us and we felt the Lords love in ways I can not even begin to express.Cozy was a hug in a body and the women were so welcoming. I have not had that in soooo long. Then upon returning I watched the broadcast (the day it turned out to be for women)that was a broadcast that I cried through and Tammy Sues testamony touch me deep. I will be visitting again soon with my husband and son Isaac ( The hamburger eater:-) I spoke to you briefly about talking more because God is helping me love more through your words. Thank you. Standing United in Christ

  7. I love today’s sharing of your heart. #1 you sound more perked and strong again! Praise & Glory to Him. Allowing exhaustion to come in is detrimental. I love the word God gave Jim when he left prison addressing exhaustion and Jim shared it while taping with John Paul Jackson! So very true! Above all else guard your heart! Exhaustion will let that guard down faster than a twinkling eye!

You shared in your blog, “that we must learn to fight for each other”, That is so good and if I may add: to uplift one another because we all have days that we must walk the walk of “endurance”! It’s really powerful yet sweet when we know we don’t have to walk it alone. Spirit of the Living God is ALWAYS with us, however it’s just precious when we know brothers & sisters in the Lord are right there too walking and hitting the speed bumps of life with us! Hallelujah!

I loved your analogy of the yoked oxen. I taught not to long ago on being a “team of oxen”. The work load is less, and more can be done. However, one of the nuggets I gleaned from my study is: it is paramount to have the oxen the same size or they work against each other in the yoke rubbing and causing horrific bleeding open sores. I immediately saw the spiritual application!

Being “equally yoked” is not only for marriage, it is for us as Christians as well and the call He has upon our lives! I can certainly better understand now why I have “rubbed many the wrong way” in my past! LOL! We simply were not equally yoked on specific issues i.e. Prophetic Biblical Times to the Present Headlines etc.

“Draw closer to God so our discernment becomes sharper and our passion for what God loves grows in us!” So true, so incredibly true! Thanks for sharing your heart! I love it!

Bouquets of Love, Blessings & Prayer,
    Kathlene
