This is a wonderful time to be alive – a time like none other when the signs of Jesus’ Second Coming are all around us and are screaming from the news headlines every day. These are great days we are living in… but an even Greater Day is coming.
We are definitely privileged to be living in these last days and we know that because we are, there’s a mission and a purpose that is only unto this generation. While the generations before us were charged with going unto all the world to spread the Gospel, our charge is not only spreading the Gospel but standing strong without wavering in the face of vicious attacks by an angry devil (because he knows his time is short). Lori and I want so much for people to be ready for anything and I know in my heart that something big is about to happen!
I’m not the only one feeling this way! When Pastor John Hagee was here with us recently he said, “I think the message that God is sending to His children is that the King is coming, get ready, get ready, get ready, the Son of God is about to appear in the clouds of Heaven and this world is soon to be over.” Both, Pastor Hagee and Pastor Mark Biltz are warning of major prophetic events surrounding the appearance of the ‘blood moons’ in conjunction with Israel’s Holy Feast Days.
The signs in the heavens couldn’t be any more apparent, marking major prophetic events which will become clear as we wait on the Lord. The message right now is to get ready! If the church gets ready now, we can minister with compassion to many more people – and perhaps lead them to Jesus. READ MORE →
Whether it’s just a casual “how are you?” or a heartfelt, “sit down and tell me what’s going on in your life,” or a caring comment on Facebook… friends can bring you great joy and comfort. I’ve never needed friends more than now as I go through this health crisis – and I have old and new friends that have been so comforting and supportive.
Proverbs 17:17 says, “A friend loves you all the time, and a brother helps in time of trouble.” That goes for sisters, too!
When I think of our new friends like Rabbi Cahn or John Shorey, or perhaps YOU, I am overwhelmed with gratefulness to God for enriching our lives with such wonderful people! READ MORE →
God has been showing us favor in the amazing guests who have come to our show with very serious and critical messages for our time. I know that there are big things coming, and that God has given us these prophetic voices to warn people to be ready. When God speaks collectively to so many people, it’s time to listen!
Pastor John Hagee and Mark Biltz came to share the revelations the Lord gave them about the blood moons appearing on the Jewish feast days this year and next. These are truly “signs in the heavens” that Jesus spoke about in Genesis 1:14:
And God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years…” READ MORE →
Do you believe in destiny? I do. I have often marveled at the fact that God chose you and me to live in this specific time in the history of the world. We could have been born in any century or any millennium, but He chose this amazing time; what we now know is the last of the last days before He returns, for you and me to be alive. It is not happenstance. It is not coincidence. We are here right now because we are destined to be.
How do I know that? Because the God I serve is the Alpha and the Omega – the God who knows the beginning and the end. He knew Adam and Abraham and Moses and David. He knew Eve and Deborah and Ruth and Esther. Each had a time and a purpose for their lives, and so do you and I. He knew you would read this very blog, and He came via Lori today to tell you that you are born with a purpose and a destiny unto Him! READ MORE →
Most of us want our lives to count for something good. When you are a Child of God, your life on this earth takes on a greater cause than just accomplishing something in the natural. A Child of God is not satisfied with worldly accomplishments – a Child of God wants to store up treasures in Heaven where moths and rust cannot corrupt them.
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. “But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. It is never pleasant to relive the past when I share my testimony. But I do it because God uses it to comfort others. A hurting woman knows I understand her pain and suffering when she hears that I have been down the same road. And when she receives healing from God, she will extend that same comfort to yet others so that the circle of wounded healers widens.
I’ll never forget the first time I shared a short testimony before a group of women at Phoenix First in the fall of 1990. I had panicked at the thought of standing before the pastors’ wives and the matriarchs of the church and telling them even the briefest highlights of my sordid past. I had been a Christian for only about eighteen months, and I still carried a dump truck size load of shame about my past sins, even though I knew God had forgiven me and completely changed my life—in fact, he had called me into full-time ministry. It’s been a rough road, this journey I’ve been on with treatment for Hepatitis C. There were days that I lay at home in bed, unable to get up and do the simplest things of life. There was just no strength at all for anything.
During this time of treatment, I often took solace in worshipping God with music. While I enjoy many different genres of Christian music, I found the old hymns to be particularly comforting. There is something about a spiritual song that bypasses our humanity and goes directly through to the spirit. This kind of music pulls from the deepest parts of us to connect to the God we love and worship. READ MORE →
It’s amazing how the Kingdom of God works. Little seeds sown throughout your life have the ability to produce so much fruit – fruit in the form of souls won to the Lord! While the devil will tell you that the things you do for God don’t amount to much, or that what you’ve done has all been ‘undone’ by circumstances and events, remember that he is a liar and that’s what he does best!
There is no greater thing that you can do than to sow seeds into the fields where God has placed you because some of those seeds will land on fertile soil and can produce a harvest greater than you could ever imagine or hope for. It has been that way with me and all the ministry throughout my life, and especially at Heritage USA. Some of the seeds sown back then have produced such surprising results that I am amazed today! Unfortunately, many people—even many sincere Christians—have been lulled into apathy concerning “end-time” events. The recent spate of apocalyptic books and movies have served only to dull our sensitivities to the real dangers of meteor showers, earthquakes, floods, famines, economic unrest, and widespread panic in the streets.
Catastrophic calamities will soon strike the earth; economic systems are going to crumble; life as normal will be severely disrupted; and the world will be plunged into a time of tribulation such as we have never before experienced. It is not a question of if these things are going to happen; the Bible clearly predicts their occurring. The only questions are, When will these things occur? and Will we be ready for them?
