“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore speak… While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal”. (2 Corinthians 4:13,18)
These verses reveal that the “spirit of faith” believes. What does it believe? The Word of God—and Faith believes just because God said it whether or not natural circumstances agree with it or not.
People with a spirit of faith always receive the blessings of God. There’s not a one of us who doesn’t go through tests and trials. But those with a spirit of faith come out supernaturally every time!
For example, if you want to develop and maintain a spirit of faith in the area of healing, you must get your Bible and start finding out what God has said about healing. Choose to receive that Word as the TRUTH. Keep putting that Word in your heart, confessing it day after day until faith comes and your body begins to line up with that Word.
Romans 12:3 says, “…God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.” This scripture was written to born-again people. So, you can be sure that if you’ve made Jesus the Lord of your life you have faith within you. You may not be acting on it and speaking it, but it’s in there and the more you hear the Word of God, the more faith will develop and grow. Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
Developing your faith is of utmost importance because faith is what connects you to all the many blessings of God. Romans 5:2 says we have access by faith into the grace of God. Therefore, if you want God’s grace for healing, you must receive it by faith. If you want God’s grace for any other area of your life, you must acquire it by faith.
Develop a “SPIRIT OF FAITH” and watch God move in your behalf. God responds to our FAITH, that’s why FAITH PLEASES GOD! (Hebrews 11:6)
