Goin’ Up Yonder!

“Come up a little higher,” I heard the whisper. Before I could consider, yea or nay, I was being whisked away. Like Paul, I didn’t know if I was present in the body or had been given a vision. It was a time in my life that I was assuming the position as Praise and Worship Leader in my church and the Lord so graciously let me experience a little of Heaven’s worship.

“I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago — whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows — such a man was caught up to the third heaven.”
2 Corinthians 12:2-4 KJV

Suddenly I found myself ascending through a passageway of vivid and beautiful color. My hearing was being sharpened and fine-tuned. I heard beautiful voices all around me as if I was in the midst of music, and I was part of it. My physical body was experiencing sensations that I had not known before, as if I were an amplifier to the praises being sung. So beautiful and in such unbelievable ranges; the unity and harmony, so precise. Now that was just my sense of hearing, the sense of sight had also been heightened.

The colors were brilliant, but so full of color. The brightest, breath-taking colors of the rainbow were everywhere. Gold as we know it, cannot be compared to the luminous gold of Heaven. The glow and radiance is scintillating to the senses. Our earthly bodies are not capable of experiencing this kind of heightened senses and aesthetic pleasure. Never before had I seen colors with this intensity and brilliance. Heavenly experiences are difficult to convey into natural words.

When it seemed I had already experienced the ultimate, I found myself again being elevated into another realm, a rung higher, yes, “goin’ up higher”! How could it be even more consuming and interactive? These dynamics were truly supernatural and celestial. The lights were brighter and the music so holy and perfectly orchestrated. This was Holy Praise.

I was absorbed into this praise until I was ushered into the highest realm which I will call High Holy Praise, yes “goin’ up higher”. This was where the light was coming from, the Lamb. I, with many hosts, were surrounding the throne, totally focused on the praises to the King of Kings upon the Throne. I wanted to bask there forever.

There is a realm of High Holy Praise which we as God’s children can access here on earth in the Spirit. The Lord yearns for us to let go of our earthly restraints and enter into this “atmosphere of praise” that our Lord inhabits.

“But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.” Psalm 22:3

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man,
the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9

Wow!

“The secret things belong to the Lord our God”. Deuteronomy 29:29

Since these secrets belong to God, He can do with them as He wills. Thank you, Lord, for the “sneak peak” of the glories to come.
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18

It’s so special to know that at any time, we can access this realm of glory just by releasing our spirit man to take flight. This link below might just send you heaven bound!
