Gone Fishin’

JESUS SAID “I WILL MAKE YOU FISHERS OF MEN”
Matt 4:18-20 – “And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 9) And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. 20) And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.” Mark 1:17 – “Come after me and I will make you to be fishers of men.” (KJV) Continue reading
Enjoy The Journey

The Lord has a good life for all of us. In Jeremiah 29:11 God says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil to give you an expected end.”
When Jesus won the victory at Calvary and was resurrected, He defeated the devil and won the victory over evil. Living Without Fear

Living without fear – is that even possible? Everyday we are confronted with opportunities to be fearful. Listen for God’s Voice in Everything You Do
“In ALL your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:6
As we spend time with God each day, God will direct everything we do, and everywhere we go. How? He does this by giving us direction and wisdom beyond our own human abilities. If you have lived very long you probably realize that without the Lord we are dumber than a fence post and nothing we do is of lasting eternal value. Continue reading
Do You Need A Boost?
“Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted (disturbed) within me…?” Psalm 42:5 (NKJV)
The psalmist in this scripture is trying to boost himself up, by giving himself a pep talk. His soul (mind, will and emotions) are screaming the blues and depression. The answer to these two questions in Psalm 42:5 goes on and says, “…Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.” Continue reading
