Abortion Enthusiasts Caught With Jars of Urine & Feces in Texas State House

Pro-abortion enthusiasts were caught with jars filled with urine, feces and paint as they tried to sneak into the gallery of the Texas State Senate to disrupt the debate on Texas’ new abortion restrictions.

In addition to the attempt to bring projectiles into the chamber, several abortion supporters tried to chain themselves to the railing in an attempt to keep the chamber from being able to vote on the measure. Continue reading

Planned Parenthood Committed To Make Abortion “As Easy As Possible For Teens”

After 18 years of court challenges and political wrangling, a law requiring parental notification for abortions by girls 17 and under is going to go into effect. The Illinois Supreme Court rejected an ACLU appeal against the Illinois Parental Notice of Abortion Act of 1995 which has already been upheld by a federal court.

“We find that, while a minor clearly has an expectation of privacy in her medical information, which includes the fact of her pregnancy, the intrusion on the minor’s privacy occasioned by the Act is not unreasonable,” Justice Anne Burke wrote for the majority. Texas House Approves Abortion Restrictions

The Texas House of Representatives passed strict abortion restrictions including a ban on abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

The bill passed 98-49 but will need a second, final vote from the house before it can head to the State Senate. The bill is the same one that the House had sent to the Senate during a previous special session but was killed by a Democratic Senator’s filibuster and protesters who disrupted the Senate’s session and ability to vote on the bill. 35,000 March Against Abortion in Ireland

Protesters carrying signs that read “Kill the bill! Not the child!” marched through Dublin, Ireland on Saturday to demand the government stop plans to legalize abortions in select cases.

The demonstrators marched for two hours through the capital city to the parliament building where legislators next week are expected to pass the bill. Speakers from the protesters demanded the government put the matter to a national referendum. Continue reading
