Nigeria Declares State of Emergency Due To Islamist Attacks
The president of Nigeria has declared a state of emergency in three of the country’s states after assaults from Islamic terrorists.

Islamic Terrorists Kill 55 In Coordinated Nigerian Attacks
Military officials said Islamic terrorists launched coordinated attacks across Northeast Nigeria that has killed at least 55 people. The attack struck Barna in Borno state that has seen almost continual terror assaults since Boko Haram began their campaign of terror in 2010.

Boko Haram Leader: “We Have Done No Wrong”
A leader of the Nigerian Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram has released a statement that says his group has done nothing wrong and needs to amnesty from the government.
The statement comes after Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan had high level officials looking into amnesty for the group in return for peace. Boko Haram had previously requested amnesty from the government. Continue reading
Easter Raid In Nigeria Kills 14 Islamic Terrorists
As part of a higher status for security amid Easter, Nigerian forces raided a suspected rebel hideout and killed 14 Boko Haram terrorists.
According to information found in the raid, the terrorist group had been planning a massive Easter Sunday attack on Christians in the Kano area. Residents reported gunshots and explosions. Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram launched an major assault on the eastern Nigerian city of Ganye killing at least 25 people.

Islamic Terrorists In Nigeria Ask For Amnesty
The Islamic terror group Boko Haram, who as recently as last week killed Nigerian police officials in terror bombings, has offered a cease fire to the government of Nigeria in return for amnesty. The group says that the amnesty could “help end violence” in northern Nigeria.
However, Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan said that the government will not give amnesty to a group that continues to hide its leaders and members. Continue reading
Nigerian Military Kills 20 Terrorists
Nigerian troops have killed 20 members of the Islamic terror group, Boko Haram, according to an army spokesman.
The terrorists had attempted to take over a military barracks in Monguno, in the extreme northern part of the country. In addition to killing 20 of the terrorists, the troops were able to capture weapons and ammunition from the assault force. No military members were apparently wounded in the assault. France Tells Nationals to Leave Northern Cameroon
French officials are telling their citizens to leave northern Cameroon after the kidnapping of seven French citizens by Islamic terrorists.
The terrorists are believed to be from neighboring Nigeria and connected to al-Qaeda related Boko Haram. The latest kidnapping, which includes four children, brings the total of recently kidnapped French citizens in that region of Africa to 15. Continue reading
Nigeria Raids Islamists – Kill 17
Nigerian troops killed 17 terrorists and wounded dozens of others in twin raids on Boko Haram training camps.
The raids in northern Nigeria happened Sunday. One Nigerian soldier died in the assaults.
Lt. Col. Sagir Musa said the camps were “fortified” and were well stocked for an extended siege. The camps contained armories, a drug store, kitchens, water sources and dormitories for the troops. Continue reading
