Pastor Who Lost Both Sons In Car Wreck Forgives Driver Who Caused Wreck

A North Carolina pastor who lost both of his baby sons in a car accident said that he and his wife have forgiven the man who caused the accident.

Pastor Gentry Eddings of Forest Hill Church in Charlotte was driving home in a car separate from his pregnant wife Hadley and his two year old son Dobbs.  The car driven by Hadley was struck from behind by a box truck driven by 28-year-old Matthew Deans.

Dobbs died in the accident.  Their other son, Reed, was delivered via emergency C-section but died two days later.

Deans has been charged with two counts of misdemeanor death by vehicle and a count of failure to reduce speed.

“We have, in our hearts, forgiven the man who did this,” Eddings proclaimed at the funeral for his sons. “It was not the easiest thing to do, but in some ways it was because we know — Hadley and I — that Jesus Christ has forgiven us our debt. … So in some ways, it was very easy to forgive a man who made an accident.”

Members of the congregation set up a fund to pay for the funeral expenses and raised almost $200,000 in nine days to help the family.

The pastor and his wife’s choosing to forgive and show Christ to the driver has also made waves in the secular world, with magazines such as People featuring the couple and their hard choice.

Texas Cop Attends Graduation For Teen Who Lost His Parents

A Texas police officer went the extra mile when he attended the graduation of a senior who recently lost his parents.

Only a few days before Kazzie Portie’s high school graduation, officer Eric Ellison delivered bad news to the 18-year-old: Portie’s parents had been killed in a car accident. Without his parents to attend his upcoming graduation, Portie wasn’t sure if he would walk on stage. However, Ellison stepped in and encouraged the young man.

“I said, ‘You’re going to walk!’ Your mom and dad will have front-row seats looking down from heaven, and I’ll stand in their place. I’ve got your back,” Ellison told BuzzFeed News.

Portie not only received his diploma on Friday, but he also received a hug from Officer Ellison in front of a standing ovation from the audience.

“Seeing Officer Ellison there to congratulate me meant the world to me,” Portie stated to BuzzFeed News. “It was so nice to see that he actually showed a genuine care for me and my family’s situation instead of just being another ‘case.'”

Portie intends on attending college.

ISIS Kidnaps 500 Children

Islamic terrorist group ISIS has kidnapped 500 children and Iraqi officials are concerned they’re being trained to be suicide bombers.

Farhan Mohammed of Anbar’s Provincial Council told reporters that ISIS was able to kidnap over 400 children from their region in less than a week.

“Daesh [Arabic acronym for ISIS] has kidnapped at least 400 children in the western province of Anbar and taken them to their bases in Iraq and Syria,” Mohammed was quoted as saying by the Christian Post.

The terrorists also kidnapped 120 children from schools in the northern part of Nineveh province.

ISIS has been releasing videos to social media showing children who are being indoctrinated by the terrorists.  They call their camps training for “cubs of the caliphate.”   The Iraqi Human Rights Commission estimates that 1,000 children have been trained by the terrorist group.

“They use children because it is easy to brainwash them,” Rami Abdulrahman, the head of the Syrian Observatory, told Reuters. “They can build these children into what they want. They stop them from going to school and send them to IS schools instead.”

Five Year Old Reflects Jesus At Alabama Waffle House

The faith of a child was on clear display at an Alabama Waffle House when a five-year-old boy made sure a hungry man could eat.

Josiah Duncan was eating the Waffle House in Prattville, Alabama with his mother Ava Faulk when he noticed a homeless man outside the restaurant.  He asked his mom about the man.

“He’s homeless,” the little boy’s mother explained. “What does that mean?” he responded. “And I said, “”Well, that means he doesn’t have a home,”” Mom continued. And apparently, the unnamed man didn’t have any friends to lean on, either.

“He came in and sat down, and nobody really waited on him,” Faulk explained. “So Josiah jumped up and asked him if he needed a menu because you can’t order without one.”

The restaurant brought the man a full meal.  However, before he could eat, Josiah made sure something happened.

“I wanted to say the blessing with him,” Duncan said.

And he did in front of the other customers and the Waffle House staff.

“God our Father, God our Father, we thank you, we thank you, for our many blessings, for our many blessings, Amen, Amen.”

Bully Repents After Being Given Bible

A pair of elementary school children used the Bible to get a bully to change his ways.

Phoenix Walywyn, 8, and her brother Kingston, 7, were being bullied on their school bus and were becoming very angry because of the constant taunting and harassment.  Phoenix says that the bully would call them names and try to make them get drawn into physical confrontations.

“It made me feel like I wanted to yell at him,” Phoenix Walwyn said.

“I wanted to say (something) back to him,” Kingston Walwyn said.

The children’s parents met with school administrators and things stopped for a few weeks before the bully began again with name calling.

The children’s father Vaughaligan is the pastor of CT Legacy Church in Pasadena.  He said that he was about to confront the bully on his own because the school’s action was not enough to make the child stop harassing his children.  Then, as he was praying for God to give him a solution, an idea flashed into his head.

“God said, ‘You know what? Let’s get this kid a Bible. Tell him Jesus loves him and invite him to church and see what happens.’”, Pastor Walywyn said.

The children gave the bully a Bible and within minutes the bully came over and apologized for everything that he had done to them.  The bully hadn’t harassed the children in any way since they gave him the Bible.

Miracle Baby Born Amidst Nepal Tragedy

One baby boy is bringing light to a dark place just by being born.

Two weeks prior to his birth, his mother, Dolma Tamang, was buried under rubble after Nepal was hit by the devastating 7.8 earthquake that struck on April 25. She managed to climb out from the rubble while being “heavily pregnant” and was able to receive help.

“I was so worried about the baby that I did not care about my own health, even though I had wounds everywhere and had trouble breathing,” Tamang told BBC.

On Wednesday, Tamang began labor and was transported to a Red Cross clinic by a mobile unit of Japanese clinicians.

“Even though we lost almost all of our belongings and live in a temporary shelter, I could not be happier and more thankful for this little miracle,” Tamang said. “This baby being born healthy is a sign of hope and second life for our whole family.”

All reports show that both mother and child are healthy.

Texas Mother Gives Birth To Quintuplets After Refusing Abortion

A Texas woman has given birth to the nation’s first all-female set of quintuplets after doctors suggested a selective reduction abortion.

Danielle Busby and her husband had struggled with infertility and went through several unsuccessful intrauterine insemination processes.  The couple decided they would give it one last try.

“We completely laid it at God’s feet and said that we would try one last time,” the Busby family explained on their GoFundMe page.

The couple had a daughter named Blayke.  The couple decided to try again a few years later and when natural did not work, they tried another IUI process that worked.

“Never would we have imagined the plan that God had for us in our journey to grow our little family,” the Busbys said.

They were urged by doctors to have an abortion to increase the chances of live birth for a portion of the babies.  The couple flat out refused to end the lives of any of the children God was giving them.

“We are holding on to our faith and convictions as followers of Christ and refuse to abort over half of our babies per the medical doctors advice,” the Busbys stated. “Every week not one baby showed any signs of having problems or issues. All hearbeats and scans have been great. How would you even choose at that point?”

On April 8th, the couple welcomed Olivia Marie, Ava Lane, Hazel Grace, Parker Kate and Riley Paige.

The director of the Woman Hospital of Texas NICU said the babies are doing well.

“The baby girls did well during the delivery and are currently requiring only modest support of their breathing,” Dr. Jayne Finkowski-Rivera said. “They were all in the appropriate weight range for their gestational age, which is due to their mother’s excellent efforts to have the healthiest pregnancy possible. They have made a strong start in life, and we are excited to watch them grow and mature.”

ISIS Terrorists Impregnate 9-Year-Old Girl

The latest report by aid workers in Iraq is a 9-year-old girl that was repeatedly raped by 10 ISIS terrorists until she was impregnated.

The aid workers say the girl will likely die giving birth to the child.

“This girl is so young she could die if she delivers a baby,” thestar.com quotes Yousif Daoud, a Canadian-based aid worker who recently returned from the region, as saying. “Even a caesarian section is dangerous. The abuse she has suffered left her mentally and physically traumatized.”

The girl was part of a group of women and children released last week by the terrorists.  The release of the women, some impregnated by the terrorists, is seen as a way to shame the community.

“If they are married, their husbands won’t take them back if they are pregnant. And it’s clear that the babies will never be accepted,” Daoud said. “I don’t know what the future would be for their babies. The girls and women don’t want them. They have suffered so much they just want to forget.”

The terrorists have been reported to give young girls to front line fighters as a reward for their efforts.

The 9-year-old has been flown to Germany to be taken care of by a medical charity.

Kansas First State To Ban Dismemberment Abortions

Kansas is the first state to ban the abortion process where they dismember babies during their removal.

Govenror Sam Brownback signed the SB95 law Tuesday banning dilation and evacuation abortions.  The Senate approved the bill 31-9 while the House passed the law 98-26.

The law says it will now be illegal to “knowingly dismembering a living unborn child and extracting such unborn child one piece at a time from the uterus through the use of clamps, grasping forceps, tongs, scissors or similar instruments that, through the convergence of two rigid levers, slice, crush or grasp a portion of the unborn child’s body in order to cut or rip it off.”

The process, which is common in second trimester abortions, stops the child’s heart and then the child is removed from the uterus in pieces.

Pro-abortion groups like Trust Women and Planned Parenthood said they’re considering lawsuits to block the law.

Missouri, Oklahoma and South Carolina are considering similar legislation.

ISIS Executes Starving Child For Stealing Food

A family that escaped from ISIS in Mosul is relating stories of the terrorist group’s brutality toward children.

The family showed a video to a reporter with the news organization Rudaw a video of a pre-teen child being executed because the child was starving and stole food.  Mosul has been suffering a food storage since the terrorist group took control of the village.

The boy who recorded the video, identified only as Ibrahim, says that the father of the child was begging loudly before the shooting of his child for the group to spare the child’s life.

In addition to the execution, the group has cut off the hands of children accused of stealing.

“Yesterday they cut off the hands of four kids, ages 12, 11, 13 and 16,” the family’s daughter, SA, told the reporter. “One of the kids stole a toy bird, another stole an electric cable.”

The family also said that the terrorists routinely go into the schools and abduct girls to force them into marriages.  Girls as young as 8 have been taken by the terrorists.
