MidEast Christian News has released a video recorded April 7th when Muslims attacked a cathedral where Christians were mourning five men killed by a Muslim group.
The video shows men shooting guns, throwing stones and swinging machetes as the Christians carry caskets out of St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Cathedral while police stand and watch the Islamists attack. Saeed Abedini, the American pastor jailed in Iran for being a Christian, has been inflicted with new beatings in Evin prison that have severely impacted his physical condition.
Abedini’s wife told Fox News that the beatings have left him with internal bleeding. The bleeding complication is on top of other injuries from repeated beatings at the hands of his Iranian captors. Continue reading →

Christians in Benghazi, Libya were captured and tortured last week by Islamists.
The 48 Christians were initially held on charges of proselytizing as Islamist Salafists claimed they had Christian icons in their marketplace stalls.
The Islamists shaved the heads of the Christians, beat them and in some cases used acid to burn tattoos of the cross off the bodies of the men. The men were eventually released but are going to be deported by the Islamic dominated government. Continue reading →
Attacks on Christians have been on the rise in Indonesia according to a report from Human Rights Watch.
HRW’s report, researched over a year between August 2011 and December 2012, showed that the government has made little attempt to stop Islamic extremists from taking violent action against Christians in the nation. The report states “harassment and intimidation of minority communities by militant Islamist groups has been facilitated by the active or passive involvement of Indonesian government officials and security forces”.
