A U.S. drone strike is suspected to be the cause of death for the Pakistani Taliban’s second-in-command according to the BBC.
A senior Taliban official told the BBC that Waliur Rehman was killed when missiles destroyed a home near Miranshah in the northwest part of the country. Recently obtained government documents reveal that drones have been customized to spy on American citizens including having the ability to intercept and record cell phone calls.

Unmanned drones are flying missions throughout the United States. The information was discovered as a result of a Freedom of Information act lawsuit filed by the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
The report released by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) detailed the organizations that applied for licenses for the drones and their locations.
