As part of a higher status for security amid Easter, Nigerian forces raided a suspected rebel hideout and killed 14 Boko Haram terrorists.
According to information found in the raid, the terrorist group had been planning a massive Easter Sunday attack on Christians in the Kano area. Residents reported gunshots and explosions. Nine women who had been giving vaccinations for polio to the poor in Nigeria have been gunned down by terrorists.
