Islamist Militants in Africa Coordinate Efforts

The head of US Africa Command (Africom) is warning that three of Africa’s largest Islamist groups are coordinating efforts and materials.

General Carter Ham, commander of Africom, cited the North African al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) is sharing explosives and money with Boko Haram, the Islamic terrorist group slaughtering Christians in Nigeria. Continue reading

Militant Islamists Kill Christians In Nigeria

Militant Islamists issued a statement claiming responsibility for the murder of 50 Christians in bomb attacks in Nigeria.

Boko Haram claimed the attacks were in retribution for Christians “destroying mosques” and turning others into “beer parlors and prostitution joints.”

“Let them know that now it’s time for revenge God willing,” the terrorist group said in a statement. “From now on, they either follow the right religion or there will be no peace for them.” Continue reading
