A 7.8 magnitude earthquake centered in Iran reached three countries resulting in fatalities in at least two.
The quake, centered near the Iranian cities of Khash (population 180,000) and Saravan (population 250,000), struck approximately 3:14pm local time Tuesday. A Muslim cleric who is was the imam of a downtown Miami mosque has been convicted of sending tens of thousands of dollars to the Taliban in Pakistan.
