The National Weather Service has told residents of the Fargo, North Dakota area to prepare for what could be record flooding this spring.
City and county officials are calling for government action after the NWS forecasted that the Red River will likely crest at a level that would place it among the five highest in history. The NWS reports a 50% of surpassing 38 feet making it 5th all time and a 10% chance of setting an all time record by passing 41 feet. Continue reading
