Taliban Says New Unit Aiming At Foreigners

After stating that they were targeting foreigners in a Saturday terrorist attack in Afghanistan, the Taliban has announced the unit is now going to focus strictly on killing foreigners.

Pakistan’s cabinet met to discuss the attack and the potential impact on the country’s tourism. The remaining tourists in the area of the attack were evacuated by Pakistani troops following the terrorist attack. Continue reading

Islamists Jailed For Terrorist Plot

Six British men who planned to kill right-wing politicians at a rally were sentenced to almost twenty years in prison for the plot.

Omar Khan, Jewel Uddin, Mohammed Hasseen, Mohammed Saud, Zohaib Ahmed and Anzai Hussain confessed in April to terrorism related offenses. The men plotted to attack an English Defense League rally but arrived two hours after the event. They were only discovered when one of their cars was stopped by police and found to have no insurance. Al-Shabab Leader Captured

A day after the United States announced financial bounties on Islamic terrorists in Africa, a leader of the Islamist terrorist group al-Shabab was captured in northeastern Somalia.

Abdikafi Mohamed Ali was wounded during a military raid on a terrorist safe house in Bossaso. One soldier was killed in the raid and the area has been locked down to capture the terrorists who were able to flee the home during the raid. Continue reading
