Tropical Storm Andrea made landfall pelting Florida with heavy rain and wind heading toward Georgia and South Carolina.

The western coast of the Florida panhandle is in line to be hit later this week by Tropical Storm Andrea.

The National Hurricane Center said a reconnaissance plane confirmed circulation over the central Gulf of Mexico Wednesday. The storm was almost 400 miles southwest of Orlando and moving north at 3 miles per hour. Continue reading →
