Billy Graham: We’re In A Lawless and Wicked Age

Rev. Billy Graham says that our children are enduring a “lawless and wicked age” that is driven by the Devil’s philosophy of “Do as you please”.

“We have taken God out of our educational systems and thought we could get away with it,” said Rev. Graham. “We have sown the wind, and we are now reaping the whirlwind. We have laughed at God, religion and the Bible.”

The commentary that Dr. Graham first delivered in 1955 was published in Decision magazine as a warning from Dr. Graham to today’s society.

“Many Christian parents are becoming fearful that they cannot properly train their children in this lawless and wicked age,” and are asking, “What can I do with my son? My daughter?” said Rev. Graham.  “We are beginning to reap what has been sown for the past generation,” he said.  “We have taught the philosophy of the Devil, who says, ‘Do as you please.’ Behaviorism has been the moral philosophy of much of our education in the past few years.”

Rev. Graham says that parents need to step up and institute discipline on their children because to not do is disobedience to God.

“If you fail to discipline your children, you are breaking the laws, commandments and statutes of God,” said Rev. Graham.  “You are guilty not only of injuring the moral, spiritual and physical lives of your children, but of sinning against God. The Bible says that if you fail to discipline your children, you actually hate them.”

Rev. Graham says that there is one answer to all of the ills of society.

“Christ in the home, in the lives of the parents, is the only permanent solution to the menacing teenage social problems in America.”

Virginia Woman Arrested For Helping ISIS

A Virginia woman is under arrest after she lied to authorities about her connections to ISIS.

Heather Elizabeth Coffman, 29, has been a big supporter of the terrorist group on social media and worked to help those in the United States connect with the group.

The FBI says that Coffman told an undercover agent that she could help them join the terrorist group.  She claimed that she had a husband who traveled to Turkey to meet with ISIS agents that could get him to the front lines in Syria.  She then claimed the “husband” left her and never made the move.

Coffman had come to the FBI’s attention because of her emphatic postings supporting ISIS on Facebook.

The FBI says Coffman “is suspected of conspiring and attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) a foreign terrorist organization.”

“As far as I know, she hasn’t traveled anywhere,” Mark Henry Schmidt, Coffman’s attorney, told The Washington Post. “Her connections with the outside world would be on the Internet. I imagine you can get into trouble on the Internet, but I imagine you can also think a lot more’s going on than really is. If nothing else, this is certainly a cautionary tale about the Internet.”

All 50 States Have Freezing Temperatures

All 50 states had areas below freezing on Tuesday as a polar vortex covered most of the United States.

The National Weather Service said that every state including Hawaii had some point below zero in the last 24 hours.  The National Weather Service said that this kind of cold is not normally seen until late December through February.

The National Weather Service near Buffalo said that 60 inches of snow had fallen in their region and that in Erie County experienced four weather related deaths.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo issued a state of emergency for 10 counties who were the hardest hit by the unusual storm.  The storm was severe enough that 140 miles of the New York State Thruway along Lake Erie and Lake Ontario were closed.

Forecasters say the early season cold blast will continue through the end of the week.

Anti-Christianist Lawsuit Against School Ceremony To Be Reheard

A lawsuit brought by anti-Christianists against a South Carolina school who held an elementary graduation event inside a Christian chapel will be reheard after an appeals court remanded a district court ruling that sided with the school district.

The anti-Christian American Humanist Association filed a lawsuit in 2013 to stop the Mountain View Elementary School from holding 5th grade graduation at a local Baptist university’s chapel auditorium.

The anti-Christianists claimed that by holding the event in the building, the school was automatically endorsing Christianity.

U.S. District Judge G. Ross Anderson, Jr. denied the anti-Christianist’s request for an injunction but the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals vacated the judgment saying the lower court did not provide analysis in the ruling.

The AHA claims that an unnamed atheist student was uncomfortable when one of the other students at the event gave a prayer and other students bowed their heads to pray.  Despite the fact the school did not order the student to pray and that the student and those who bowed to pray were just exercising their religious rights, the anti-Christianists say it’s illegal for the Christians to exercise their faith in a way that a non-Christian might see them.

The school claims they were using the facility because they needed a location that could handle the growing attendance for the event.

Former Porn Star Shows Hate For Christians In Driver’s License Photo

A former porn star is using a fake religion created to mock Christians as an excuse to take a driver’s license photo with a colander on her head.

Jessica Steinhauser, who performed in adult films as “Asia Carrera”, brought a spaghetti strainer to a Utah Department of Motor Vehicles location, demanding she be allowed to wear it in her photo because she is a member of the “Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.”

The “church” was created when an anti-Christianist named Bobby Henderson created concept to mock Christians where he says he worships a “flying spaghetti monster” that no one could see.

Henderson and others who belong to his anti-Christian group claim it’s no different than Christians worshipping God.

The group celebrates blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.  In one place on their website, they have a mockery of John 3:16 where they say “he boiled for your sins” and mark it “Spaghetti 3:16.”

Atheists and anti-Christianists in other states have been bringing a colander to their photos for official pictures as a way to mock and show their hatred for Christians.

Christian Professor Arrested for Blasphemy In Pakistan

A 40-year-old Christian man is jailed in Pakistan charged with “insulting the Prophet Mohammed”, the same charge used to sentence Christian mother Asia Bibi to death.

Qaiser Ayub has been a fugitive for almost three years after the computer science professor was accused of posting statements on his blog that some Muslims considered blasphemous.

The law used by the government to arrest Ayub has been roundly criticized as a tool used by Muslims within the country to target religious minorities for persecution.

The American Center for Law and Justice sees this as another example to support their demand that the USA stop all foreign aid to Pakistan.

“We must stop sending billions of our taxpayer dollars to nations that persecute Christians. It’s that simple. Not one more dime for persecution. Cut off American foreign aid to any country that persecutes Christians,” the ACLJ states in a petition to the White House.

“As a wave of persecution sweeps across the Middle East — and Christians flee for their lives — it’s time for the money to stop.  Already there is growing support for basic human rights and basic common sense on Capitol Hill.”

Muslim Prayer At National Cathedral Interrupted By Protester

A Muslim worship service being held at the National Cathedral was interrupted by a Christian protester offended by the Christian church being used for worship by those who deny the divinity of Christ.

“Jesus Christ died on that cross over there!” Christine Weick yelled after the announcements at the start of the service. “He is the reason why we are to worship only him. Jesus Christ is our lord and savior!”

Weick continued to yell her objections as she was being removed from the church.

“We have built, and allowed you here in mosques across this country. Why can’t you worship in your mosque, and leave our churches alone?”

The National Cathedral’s website said “Leaders believe offering Muslim prayers at the Christian cathedral shows more than hospitality. It demonstrates an appreciation of one another’s prayer traditions and is a powerful symbolic gesture toward a deeper relationship between the two Abrahamic traditions.”

One of the Cathedral’s officials has previously said she believes Muslims and Christians worship the same God.

Second Death Among American Treated Ebola Patients

The second Ebola victim treated in the United States has died.

Dr. Martin Salia died Monday morning while being treated at the Biocontainment Unit at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.  A hospital spokesman said that Dr. Salia died around 4 a.m. Monday.

Officials close to the case say that Dr. Salia was already critical when he arrived at the facility, including being in kidney and respiratory failure.

“Dr. Salia was extremely critical when he arrived here, and unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we weren’t able to save him,” said Dr. Phil Smith, medical director of the biocontainment unit.  “We used every possible treatment available to give Dr. Salia every possible opportunity for survival.  As we have learned, early treatment with these patients is essential. In Dr. Salia’s case, his disease was already extremely advanced by the time he came here for treatment.”

Salia’s wife said she was thankful the U.S. State Department worked to bring her husband to Nebraska to help him fight for his life.

“We are so appreciative of the opportunity for my husband to be treated here and believe he was in the best place possible,” Isatu Salia said.

Justice Department Uses Fake Cell Towers On Airplanes

The Justice Department has been spying on millions of Americans through the use of fake cell phone towers attached to airplanes.

The Wall Street Journal revealed the existence of the U.S. Marshals Service program, which reached full functionality in 2007.  The Marshals fly Cessna aircraft from at least five metropolitan area airports.  The flights can cover most of the U.S. population.

The devices on the airplanes mimic cell phone towers and allow the Marshals to trick cell phones into reporting registration information.  Tens of thousands of cellphones have their data captured during a single flight.

Justice Department officials would not confirm to the Journal the existence of the program.  An official said that to discuss it would allow criminal suspects or foreign powers to determine ways U.S. officials collect intelligence.  He said nothing is done that does not meet federal law including gaining a court’s approval.

The system reportedly can collect a phone’s information even if you have a phone with encryption capabilities, such as the iPhone 6.

Nebraska Hospital Prepares For Third Ebola Patient

A surgeon from Sierra Leone is being transported to Nebraska Medical Center to be treated for Ebola.

The doctor has legal permanent resident status in the United States.  Officials at NMC would not confirm the Saturday arrival of the patient but admitted they would be evaluating a patient for admission.

The State Department said they had been working with the family of the surgeon.

“His wife, who resides in Maryland, has asked the State Department to investigate whether he is well enough to be transported back to the University of Nebraska Medical Center for treatment,” a State Department statement read.

Two patients, Dr. Rick Sacra and NBC cameraman Ashoka Mukpo, were successfully treated at the Nebraska facility.

It was not clear how the doctor was exposed to the virus.
