Taliban Kill 20 In Hotel Attack

Rev 6:3-4 NCV When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to take away peace (prosperity, rest) from the earth and to make people kill each other (butcher, slaughter, to maim violently, in streets), and he was given a big sword (assassins sword, terrorist, loud, mighty, sore afraid).

“We have so devalued human life in our society that for many people it is a small thing to kill another person.”

-Jim Bakker in “Prosperity and the Coming Apocalypse”

Taliban terrorists attacked a hotel in the Lake Qargha area of Afghanistan killing 15 civilians.

The five insurgents who engaged in the 12-hour attack were killed.

The BBC reports the hotel outside Kabul was an “easy target” for the Taliban because of its remote location. They said that little security could be found in that region.

The Taliban claims the hotel was used by wealthy Afghans and foreigners for “wild parties” but in reality the location is used mostly by Kabul residents for day trips and family gatherings. Foreigners are rarely seen at Lake Qargha.

Maihan Saeedi, a resident who left shortly before the assault, said the hotel was filled with civilians including women and children.

Dozens of people had also been taken hostage by the group and were freed after an assault by Afghan and international forces.

“It just shows that the Taliban are there to kill civilians,” Saeedi told the BBC.
