Mark 13:8 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Pakistani sources are telling media outlets that the most prominent field commander for Al-Qaeda has been killed in a drone strike.

Sheikh Khaled bin Abdul Rahman died with 10 others near Mir Ali in western Pakistan according to local Taliban sources quoted by the BBC. The drone attack happened on Thursday but the news of the death is just now being reported.

Pakistani intelligence officials say that they buried Rahman on Fiday. They said his wife had also died in the attack and his daughter was severely wounded.

Rahman was not the only Taliban leader killed in recent days; another senior al-Qaeda commander was killed in a drone strike on Sunday.

Local tribal officials and intelligence officials are providing the information because reporters have been banned from visiting the areas of the strike.

The deaths mark the 3rd and 4th senior Al-Qaeda leaders killed by drone strikes in 2012.
