An Islamic terrorist organization has been arrested in the United Arab Emirates allegedly planning attacks on government installations.
According to an official statement on their state news agency, the government said the group of Islamists had “materials and equipment with the aim of executing terrorist operations.” The arrested group contained “both UAE and Saudi nationals.”
The group was described as a “deviant group” which the UAE government has repeatedly used as code for al-Qaeda operatives.
