Chinese Health Expert Disputes WHO Claim H7N9 Is Not Transferable

Revelation 6:7,8 NCV When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come!"8 I looked, and there before me was a pale horse. Its rider was named death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill people by war, by starvation, by disease, and by the wild animals of the earth.

Chinese health expert Zhong Nanshan has told China Central Television that the claims being made by the Chinese government and the World Health Organization that the H7N9 bird flu does not transmit human-to-human are based on “hardly conclusive” evidence.

Nanshan then spoke about SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) and how it took a significant amount of time to become a full epidemic. He warned members of the public to immediately contact health officials if they experience flu symptoms.

A military disease expert told the Beijing Morning Post that the virus is moving north because it cannot handle warmer temperatures. However, a disease control expert in Guangdong said that a risk of outbreak in southern China is high and that the migration of birds in the fall will enhance that risk.

The total number of confirmed, government reported cases of H7N9 has reached 60.
