2 Timothy 3:1-5 (KJV) “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God…”
Editor’s Note: Throughout the scriptures, God has made it clear that shedding innocent blood is murder, and no murderer will enter heaven. In addition to the death of the unborn baby, abortion also substantially harms the women and many times, families, husbands, boyfriends and a whole sphere of relationships connected to and surrounding each abortion. Often, lifelong guilt and other social, relational, spiritual and even physical problems follow the murder of innocent babes in the womb. Pastor Jim Bakker believes that this issue, abortion, may be the single most significant issue that brings God’s judgment on this nation more than any other.
Pro-life groups are organizing against legislation that would greatly expand abortions in New York. The Reproductive Health Act would remove restrictions on abortion such as parental notification for underage girls and a 24-hour waiting period.
Feminists For Life released a series of videos making people aware of the massive expansion for abortion in the state that already sees the most abortions per year. Among the results of the Act, prosecution against criminals whose violent attacks against pregnant women result in the deaths of babies would now be prohibited.
The law would change assault on a pregnant woman to nothing more than a simple assault.
Serrin Foster of Feminists for Life said the statistics show that New York is not doing nearly enough to help pregnant women. She says the bill would not help women who need health care and support during their pregnancies and encourages them to obtain high-risk, late-term abortions.
Governor Andrew Cuomo is in favor of removing abortion restrictions and will sign the bill if it is sent to his desk.
