Syria Denies Connection To Turkish Bombings

Matthew 24:10,11 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

syriaturkeycarbombA double car bombing in Turkey is suspected as being the work of the Syrian Intelligence agency.

Turkish government officials say the bombs have the marks of Syrian Intelligence and come days after Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan told world media that his country had proof Syria had used chemical weapons on their citizens.

“We will not be trapped. The aim of these attacks is to pit Turks against each other and create chaos. So I call on all my citizens to keep calm,” Erdogan said. He called on all Turks to be “extremely careful, extremely vigilant”.

Syria began damage control by stating they were “saddened by the martyr’s deaths” but claimed Syria knew nothing about the bombings. Then they blamed the Turkish government.

“It is Erdogan who should be asked about this act,” Syrian Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi told reporters. “He and his party bear direct responsibility.”

However, no reporter asked al-Zoubi how he knew that Turkey was involved if his government had no knowledge of the bombings.
