Chinese Heatwave Worst In 140 Years

Matthew 24:7 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

Editor’s Note: Prophet Rick Joyner warns that when you see strange and extreme weather (record breaking highs, lows, floods, droughts, tornadoes, storms), it is a prophetic sign that the Revelation Days are upon us.

Temperatures in China during the day are so high that people are grilling shrimp on manhole covers and eggs are hatching without incubators.

Chinese officials say that in some locations the heat is the worst in 140 years and has forced them to issue a “level 2” weather emergency. “Level 2” is usually reserved for typhoons and flooding.

The heat has been so intense that a highway billboard spontaneously burst into flame. In the port city of Ningbo glass cracked from the heat and vehicles burst into flame.

Shanghai hit a record high of 105 degrees on July 26th in the midst of 28 straight days of 95 degrees or higher. Ten deaths have been attributed to heat stroke. Forecasters say the heat could continue through mid-August.

“This is the future. Get used to it,” Andrew Dressler of Texas A&M University told The Associated Press. “You often hear people say, `Oh, we’ll just adapt to the changing climate.’ It turns out that that’s a lot harder than it sounds, as the people in China are finding out now.”
