In Loving Memory of Paul Crouch

Jim Bakker & Paul Crouch

Our hearts are saddened by the news of Paul Crouch’s passing. Paul’s great accomplishment of building the world’s largest conglomerate of Christian television networks and stations is his living legacy that will continue to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to millions around the world.

Paul’s passion for broadcasting influenced my life as a young boy when he was youth pastor of the church I attended in Muskegon, Michigan. Later on in life we worked together in the early years of Trinity Broadcasting Network. Paul Crouch is truly one of the fathers of Christian television.

  1. South África’ s Eastern Cape Province has a Christian TV Station, TBN, because of Paul Crouch. We thank the Lord for his and Jan’s work, together with others, in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.

  2. Jim…If it weren’t for you and Tammy, there would never have been a TBN or CBN! Blessed are the “poor in spirit”(“humble” is a better translation for today),

  3. Paul was a man on a mission from god-he was areal force. For. Christian TV -he and his beautiful wife jam dedicated their life and resources to obey The Lord.may The Lord bless jan in her hour of need -we will all be with you soon in heaven!

  4. I read Paul’s book, “I Had No Father But God.” Oh my! Many are the books that I have read but this book remains the best of all, aside of course from God’s Word. I still have it and have loaned it to many people.
I still feel God’s presence while reading about the miracles God performed as He led His faithful servants Paul and Jan in this mission of taking His message around the world. Thank you Paul and Jan for your faithfulness to God and for your Christian witness to me.
    Wrapped in His grace, Rae

  5. Back in the 80′-90′ I was an OTR truck driver and everynigt I parked at a Truk Stop I always tuned in TBN. It was my Church while I was on the road. Many fond memories of programs I watched in the sleeper of that old truck.

  6. He was such a big presence in the ministry. I still feel sad but I feel comforted by the fact that he is happy with the Lord.

Jim & Lori: I’m sorry for the loss of your friend. (“…merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come,” Isaiah 57:1.)

    • I was never lucky enough to meet some of these people that I love dearly. I want her to have them. in the spring I hope to go there . I would love to live there it is so nice.

  9. Words cannot describe the impact of what TBN has ignited to the planet Earth in General Jesus is the commandor..of the Gospel. My life was blessed by every show I started watching in Oklahoma many years ago at 23 ……Paul Crouch was the best man of Christain courage and persistance I’d ever seen,Years later I finally made it to Calfornia to tour the studios My life was foreverimpacted by this TV MINISTRY… Psalm 34:1 I will Bless the Lord always his Praise will continuity be in my mouth, was heard all around the planet. Because of him and his gaganic FAITH, which moved many mountains along with Jan. There will never be another man quite the same with such a senistive spirit heart of kindness and Love as Paul…If God permits I’d like to meet you someday So I can thank you personally thank you…Clap Your Hands all Ye People Shout with Joy…..to the God of Triumph

  10. I have always wanted to say thank you to brother Jim Bakker the PTL show. In January 1976 I watched it for the first time and was dramatically saved when Lulu Roman was on. Had never heard the gospel before. January 2014 will be 38 yrs. I watch your show again. It is amazing. Thank you Jim and Lori for bringing us all into your hearts. God wants a family not a church. I wanted to say one thing to Tammy Sue. You are a beautiful woman of God who has never laid her dignity down. Your character in Christ shines brightly. You have allowed God to stretch the borders if your heart and you are to be appreciated and admired for Christ’s sake. Your testimony is most precious. Thank you.

  11. May our Lord and Savior give the Crouch family the Peace that Pass all Understanding is my prayer. I know Dr. Paul is having a time of his life in Heaven and we as Christians will see him again for we are living in the final hours of the end time I believe. I got to go to the Holy Land Experience in Orlando this past summer and it was awesome I felt the Holy Spirit during the “We Shall Behold Him” many were saved when given the invitation. I pray the Lord will give strength and comfort to Jan, Matt, and Paul Jr. as they continue TBN around the world.

  12. I got saved watching TBN, and now the Lord is saying to Paul, WELL DONE, Thank you Jan for doing all that you and bro. Paul did for the kingdom of God.. I pray God grants you and your family peace during this difficult time. He will be missed…

    • I too came from fr Melodyland … I was there for years.. did you know the Restivo Ralph and Lee
That’s where a lot of teacher came from .. He many singers that was a great place to start for me .. Paul will surely be missed he was a giant in the land…
YAHUWAH mercy be upon him .. and His loving kindness for what he has started .. I was just a teenager when TBN taught me many things.. how to be a seeker as I’am to day .. I have found YAHUWAH YHWH .. seek and ye will find.. never give up .. just like Paul he never gave up going into countries to put up satellite .. Rest in peace Paul ..
