A Pennsylvania couple that believes in divine healing is facing 20 years in prison today after pleading no contest to a third-degree murder charge after a second child died from pneumonia.
Herbert and Catherine Schaible are being sentenced today for the death of their 8-month-old son Brandon.
The couple had been on probation for ten years after the death of another child due to pneumonia. A part of the probation for the conviction on involuntary manslaughter was an order that they seek medical attention for any one of their children who fall ill in spite of their religious faith.
The Schaibles belong to a small Pentecostal church in Philadelphia where the church’s pastor said the deaths of the child were due to a spiritual lack in the couple’s lives. The pastor said none of the church’s families will seek medical care.
Lawyers for the couple say that their religious beliefs will be prominently brought up at the sentencing.
The couple has seven surviving children.
What ever it takes to live out our God-given lives is where it’s at for me. Prayer for healing, and prayer to find God’s Pathway for our individual healing. That pathway for physical healing may entail many methods but as long as we Always ask The Father, listen for His answer, then be obedient to Him and His way is by far the best. In Deut. 27:15 thru 26, gives the Curses that will befall those who choose Not to follow The Father, and Deut. 28:1-40, gives the Blessings that will come to those whom choose to Hear AND Obey The Father. It is Not a Salvation issue but what God Almighty set down for His People to hear and obey. What Our Father said has NOT been deleted or annulled We are born again through Yeshua The Messiah, but even HE kept the Instructions (Torah) laid out by our creator, as there were NO King James then to read or follow and because He loves us His creation.
After we do His Word of Instruction..if we still are not healed and restored, please research Natural Remedies and then the chemical remedies. The chemical remedies usually have too many side effects to deal with so we do not do chemical remedies except for a quick bridge to healing, then back onto the natural for maintenance and good health. Putting too much faith into man’s teachings, rather than studying the scriptures for ourselves, really ensnares us. We must, personally, search the scriptures every day, especially in our age of Grace, to weed out false teachings. Now, this pastor is accusing them of a spiritual lack on their part that led to the death of their child. Romans 8:1 is the perfect Word of God to the family to rid them of that accusation. But, they & all members of that church must immediately, part ways from this controlling, dictator, praying that The Holy Spirit will lead them back to the Truth of His Word.

My heart goes out to these people because of their deception or not realizing GOD does not only heal supernaturally, but He also has given us the medical field to deal with sickness. It’s there for a reason. Also, there are naturopathic methods you can use that are not only natural with herbs, they actually work. Whether their from N.
