Christians To Be Mocked On Cartoon Network Show “Black Jesus”

Luke 17:28-30 “Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built” but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

Cartoon Network will be airing a show in its late night “adult swim” block that will feature a character who the show says is Jesus that smokes marijuana, swears and use the Lord’s name in vain.

The show is called “Black Jesus.”

The show will have the “Jesus” character living in Compton, California, participating in illegal activities with drug addicts and alcoholics and conducting other activities that mock Christians.

The character claims that he’s just about “spreading love and kindness” while participating in questionable activities.

Several groups including One Million Moms is calling for Christians to protest the show saying that the Christian faith should not be used as a source of derision in manners that would never be allowed on television for Muslims or Jews.

Supporters of the show’s creator Aaron McGruder say that the show is just satire and people need to develop a sense of humor.

  1. This is just a sign of the end of the age. It was said that there would be a time when people would no longer tolerate sound doctrine, but give heed to deceiving spirits.

  2. Thus says the Lord God I will not be mocked! Another attack from the devil against Our Lord & Savior Jesus . Our Holy Lord that should be respected with Honor. You evil demonizers you have a day that is coming. None of my kids or grandkids will ever put their eyes on you desecrating Our Lord & Savior Christ Jesus! You are already being judged by God himself!
