Genesis 1:14 Then God said, “Let there be lights in the sky to separate day from night. These lights will be used for signs, seasons, days, and years.
What was already going to be a rare event with the closing of the blood moon tetrad, has turned into an even rarer occasion as stargazers will not only see a lunar eclipse but also see a supermoon on Sunday night.
A supermoon is when the moon is at its closest approach to Earth in its normal orbit. It will appear 14% bigger and 30% brighter and is approximately 31,000 miles closer to Earth. A normal total lunar eclipse occurs when the sun, Earth, and the moon align, causing the moon to completely be in Earth’s shadow. According to NASA, having both a total lunar eclipse and a supermoon occur means that the moon will be at its darkest and its brightest in 2015.
While normal lunar eclipses can be seen about every 2.5 years, a super moon and lunar eclipse combination hasn’t been seen in 33 years, and another won’t occur until 2033.
According to Nature World Report, the best time to enjoy a full supermoon is shortly after the moon rises above the horizon. On September 27, at approximately 8:11 p.m. Eastern Time (EDT), the moon will begin to dim from the eclipse. NASA officials report the total eclipse will start at 10:11 p.m. EDT and it will last 72 minutes. Those in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, western Asia, and eastern Pacific Ocean regions will be able to see the eclipse.
No equipment will be needed to view Sunday’s astronomical event. Experts have reported that everything will be able to be seen with the naked eye.
The feast of Tabernacles was at Sundown tonight and the blood moon followed! I saw most of it, here in Buffalo, NY. The feast of tabernacles was one of rejoicing. The true Religion will prosper in faith and joy while other religions experience pain. I see that is already started with tragedies!! Jehovah’s true worship will be the last man standing!!
I’ve seen what I could , it’s cloudy / rainy here but it was epic

What time will it appear in the pacific standard time
God is speaking !! I wonder what He’s trying to tell us.
We will e in our church parking lot tonight to checkmate out and study what the Bible has to say both about the moon and Sukkot…..
“According to NASA, having both a total lunar eclipse and a supermoon occur means that the moon will be at it’s darkest AND it’s brightest (AT THE SAME TIME) in 2015″……
Only The Most Amazing God of Heaven and Earth could create such a show for us! However, I am very curious as to any possible occurancies that might take place, due to this phenomenon here on Earth……
It seems to me that nothing being effected is as much a miracle.
i had heard that we in north america would NOT be able to see it, but it would be visible in israel ???
Hi Katharine, that’s one significant part of this blood moon. It will be very visible over Jerusalem.
Katherine, I heard the same thing. It says says here, though, that just about the entire world will see it. Well have to check it out for ourselves…..
Hello Katharine, I’ve looked at maps as to the geographical locations that would be able to see this rare event, and the best place to see it, the very center point is right over the Atlantic Ocean. The center point is quite wide. Where I live, on the Eastern Seaboard of the United States, I will have a clear view of the blood moon, and it looks like just as the Sun has set in California, they will see it too. It extends all the way over to the far-reaches of the Middle East. Israel’s only chance to see a portion of this event will be possible, but they are on the very edge. Hope this helps. Tonight at 10:47 EST for me to see greatest point of the eclipse.
not a good time to go night fishing.
