They wowed all of America as they made the finale of FOX-TV’s “The Next Great American Band” and now they are teaming up with world-renowned pianist Dino Kartsonakis for a very special musical night on Grace Street at Morningside!

My wonderful friend Robert Schuller once said, “Always look at what you have left, never look at what you lost.” This morning heaven gained a loving man of God that spent his life finding and sharing the positive. He was a motivating thinker, a great innovator, fellow dreamer and my friend. What is left to cherish of Robert Schuller and his life are his encouraging words, lives that have been changed with his message of hope and a legacy of preaching the loving gospel.

Reverend Robert Schuller was one of the last of the pioneering founders of Christian Television. His contribution to the Christian world will be remembered always! Hour of Power can still be seen on various television channels. His messages were always meant to guide the hurt towards healing and wipe the tears away with a smile and encouraging word. Robert has now joined his beautiful wife Arvella who passed away last year. Our prayers are with his children and grandchildren as they mourn the loss of this remarkable man!

The latest unfolded near Porte de Vincennes in eastern Paris, where the city prosecutor’s office reported a shooting and hostage situation early Friday afternoon. Police anti-terror units raced to the scene, while ambulances blared as they moved away from it.

Police have surrounded a supermarket in Paris, as the BBC’s Stephen Sackur reports.
A gunman has seized hostages at a kosher supermarket in Paris as police in northern France have cornered the two Charlie Hebdo massacre suspects.
A police officer told the BBC that two people were killed after a gunman believed to be the killer of a policewoman in Montrouge entered the supermarket near Porte de Vincennes.

WASHINGTON – At the National Day of Prayer event held on Capitol Hill Thursday, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn issued a dire warning to America: The nation “stands in danger of impending judgment, and we all know it.”
“Too much of the church has lost its saltiness to do anything about it,” he declared. “And now the same biblical signs of national judgment that appeared in the last days of ancient Israel are reappearing on American soil.”
At the beginning of his commanding speech, Cahn, author of runaway bestseller, “The Harbinger,”and its movie companion “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment” from WND films, warned that his address would not be politically correct. He urged the nation to “come before the Lord and seek His face, and His purposes, and His will for this land and to pray for America.”
While Cahn said America has been blessed as no other nation has been blessed, he added, “To whom much is given, much is required.”

Southern Alabama and the Florida Panhandle were slammed by a severe storm, bringing death and destruction across the South.
Drivers on Interstate 10 at the Alabama-Florida state line were forced to abandon their vehicles and walk to safety after officials shut it down due to high water.
The flooding also kept fire rescue crews from being able to respond to calls for help in the Pensacola area.
“It’s gotten to the point where we can’t send EMS and fire rescue crews out on some 911 calls because they can’t get there,” Escambia County spokesman Bill Pearson said. “We’ve had people whose homes are flooding and they’ve had to climb up to the attic.”
Alabama was hit with 11.5 inches of rain overnight. Officials were calling people living south of Interstate 10 warning them not to travel.
Drivers in Pensacola, Florida were stranded when the cross country storm pummeled the town with more than 2 feet of water.
More rain fell in a single hour during Tuesday’s storm “than during the entirety of Hurricane Ivan” according to The Weather Channel’s lead meteorologist, Kevin Roth.
Forecasters believe that Tuesday’s rain in Pensacola set a record, but no official data could be gathered due to damage to the National Weather Service’s equipment.
“It went on and on and on. It was relentless,” Cheryl Clendenon, who was stranded in her home in Pensacola Beach until a friend picked her up, told NBC News. “I used to like the sound of rain to help me get to sleep, but this was like Chinese water torture. It just did not stop.”
The current storm system hitting the country has killed 38 people in eight states.
This past Valentine’s Day, one of the great prophets of our day, Bob Jones, was welcomed into our Lord’s joyful arms. His gift of prophecy touched thousands but more so his loving spirit of healing.

Some predictions were incredibly personal such as the day, month and year that a baby would be born as well as the exact weight of the child. This prophecy was given years before the child was ever conceived! Bob spoke to the heart and spirit of a person connecting prophecy with the deep emotions of his friends and followers and the guiding hand of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Two years after a new underwater volcano appeared offshore of El Hierro in the Canary Islands, earthquake swarms and a sudden change in height suggest a new eruption is brewing near the island’s villages, officials announced today (Dec. 27).
After the announcement, one of the largest temblors ever recorded at the volcanic island, a magnitude-5.1 earthquake, struck offshore of El Hierro at 12:46 p.m. ET (5:46 p.m. local time) today, the National Geographic Institute reported. Residents on the island reported strong shaking, and the quake was felt throughout the Canary Islands, according to news reports. The earthquake’s epicenter was 9 miles (15 kilometers) deep.
Before the earthquake struck early this afternoon, the island’s volcano monitoring agency, Pelvolca, had raised the volcanic eruption risk for El Hierro to “yellow.” This warning means that activity is increasing at the volcano, but no eruption is imminent. A similar burst of activity prompted a yellow warning in June 2012, but the volcano soon quieted down.
