DEVELOPING: Northwestern Iran was struck Saturday by a series of major earthquakes, the strongest registering magnitude 6.4, as local media reported dozens of people dead and hundreds hurt.
An official said in local media reports cited by Reuters that 40 to 50 people were killed and 400 hurt, but those numbers couldn’t be independently confirmed.

Lori and I, along with the Staff and Volunteers of Morningside are deeply saddened by the loss of our friend, Pastor Teddie Renollet. Although our hearts are saddened, we rejoice in knowing that God has received into his Kingdom one of His army’s greatest Generals. Pastor Teddie was close to our hearts and truly is one of the nicest men I have ever met.
There will be no live taping on Thursday August 3 as Lori and I, as well as the staff, will be attending Pastor Teddie’s funeral. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We feel that it is very important to honor our friend and be a comfort to his family during this time.
