Two U.S. soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan by a man dressed in an Afghan police uniform. The forces attached to NATO were shot in Khas Uruzgan, about 250 miles from the capital of Kabul.

Eleven terrorists have been arrested in Jordan in connection to an al-Qaeda plot. The men are reported to have planned attacks on Western diplomats and high-traffic locations like shopping centers.
Officials told the BBC the attack was planned to fall on the anniversary of attacks in Amman on November 9, 2005 when three al-Qaeda terrorists made homicide bomb attacks on three hotels killing 60 people.
