Syrian opposition leaders say the government launched a chemical weapons attack overnight, killing entirely families while they slept. An official death toll has not been released but most activist groups place the number of dead in the hundreds.

Flooding Could Complicate Efforts To Fight Idaho Wildfire

As a massive Idaho wildfire continues to burn virtually out of control, local officials say forecasts of heavy rain could bring another problem to the firefighters attempting to stop the blaze: flash flooding.

Al-Qaeda To Focus On Israeli and Jewish Targets

The Israeli Counter Terrorism Bureau has released a report showing that al-Qaeda and other Islamic terrorists groups are planning a major focus on Israeli and Jewish targets over the next few weeks.

The report listed dozens of nations where the CTB was “concrete” proof of a terrorist threat. Israeli citizens were urged to immediately leave nations Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Syria and Lebanon among others. A travel restriction was put in place to other nations such as Libya, Tunisia and Sudan. Boko Haram Leader Believed Dead

The leader of the Boko Haram Islamic terrorist group in Nigeria is believed to have been killed in a clash with government troops.

Abubakar Shekau is believed to have died near the end of July according to an intelligence report released by the Nigerian government. The U.S. government had placed a $7 million bounty on Shekau because of his power within Islamic terrorist circles. Continue reading
