Natural Causes Ruled Out In Colorado Wildfire

El Paso County Sheriff Terry Maketa said that officials have been able to rule out lightning as the cause of the massive wildfire that has destroyed thousands of acres of woods and hundreds of homes.

Maketa said police are investigating whether or not the fire was intentionally started or an accident. He also announced that a man and woman were found dead in the garage of one of the destroyed homes. Continue reading

U.S. Senator Appeals To Iranian People On Behalf Of Jailed American Christian Pastor

Idaho senator James Risch is making an appeal to the Iranian people for Christian Pastor Saeed Abedini, jailed in Iran’s brutal Evin prison for his faith. Abedini has been in prison for nearly 300 days suffering long periods in solitary confinement, beatings and torture at the hands of Iranian jailers.

Abedini traveled to Iran to help build an orphanage. He had lived in Iran prior to becoming a U.S. citizen and had been a key people in the home church movement. He was arrested in 2009 and released after pledging to stop organizing house churches. Continue reading

Two Dead In Colorado Wildfires

Colorado authorities have confirmed two deaths as a result of the massive, uncontrolled Colorado wildfires.

The blaze near Colorado Springs is already the most destructive wildfire in Colorado history. At least 360 homes have been destroyed northeast of the city and the fire is considered only 5 percent contained. Continue reading

White House Joins World Leaders In Accusing Syria of Chemical Weapon Use

White House spokesman have finally joined with other world governments in confirming Syrian President Bashar Assad’s government has used chemical weapons on their own citizens in an attempt to stop the civil war.

Senator Says “There Is A War on Christianity”

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul said in a speech today at the Faith and Freedom Coalition luncheon that there is a “war on Christianity”.

“It angers me to see my tax dollars supporting regimes that put Christians to death for blasphemy against Islam, countries that put to death Muslims who convert to Christianity, and countries who imprison anyone who marries outside their religion,” Sen. Mali Discovery Could Mean al-Qaeda Has Feared Weapon

As UN workers comb through the ruins of various mausoleums and museums assessing damage left by Islamic terrorists driven out of the city, they made a very disturbing discovery.

Photocopies of a terrorist training manual appeared to show that al-Qaeda has a feared weapon called “The Grail”, a surface-to-air missile that is capable of taking down a commercial airliner. The weapon is also called a MANPADS, or Man-Portable Air-Defense System. Continue reading

Colorado Scorched By Wildfires

Three major wildfires are ravaging Colorado, forcing the evacuation of thousands including a prison, and threatening a world record bridge.

The first fire, over 300 acres, is burning near the Royal Gorge Bridge over the Colorado River. The bridge is the highest suspension bridge in the world at 956 feet. Hundreds of people have been evacuated from the area and the park surrounding the bridge area. Continue reading
