Billy Graham’s Grandson’s Rally Sees 1,350 Salvations

Will Graham, legendary pastor Billy Graham’s grandson, led a three day crusade in Kisumu, Kenya that saw over 1,350 people accept Christ as Lord.

Over 21,000 people came to the “Celebration of Peace” happened at the Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground nearly 53 years after Billy Graham led a crusade in the same city.

“One of the countries to which [God] has directed my heart is Kenya. He has instilled in me a huge desire to preach to the Kenyan people the message of love, hope and peace that only He can bring,” Will Graham wrote on the Billy Graham Training Center website.

Graham stated that the crusade was important in that impoverished area because many of the youth turn to alcohol or glue-sniffing to try and escape the stress of life rather than turning to Christ.

In addition to the salvations, many in attendance rededicated themselves to Christ including the Governor’s wife.
