Luke 21:11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
The Centers for Disease Control is trying to find the source of an outbreak of Cyclospora that has sickened hundreds of people, mostly in the Midwest.
The mystery stems from the fact the parasite is not common in the United States but rather found in tropical locations like Latin America. The parasite also isn’t spread from person to person, so there has to be a contaminated food or water source.
However, despite the bulk of the illnesses in Texas, Iowa and Nebraska, cases have been found as far from that main center as Connecticut and Georgia.
Cyclospora has many of the same symptoms as a common stomach bug including diarrhea, stomach cramps and fever. However, the symptoms will continue for longer than a few days.
“Doctors can diagnose it by looking for either the parasite itself or eggs of the parasite in a stool sample,” Dr. Nicole Bouvier of the Icahn School of Medicine told ABC. ”They have to do it with a microscope because it’s tiny. You can’t see it with your naked eye. It’s not like a worm.”
I am 67, I am well aware of this terrible parasite. I have been in the hospital
one time already, vomiting, and all the rest that goes with this. I today felt
much better. Tried to introduce food again. Failed. Now I am having a temperature every night for approx. a hour, hot tea seemed to help. But today
the vomiting came again. How long can it take to recover. Bless you all. May you
always be blessed. In Gods work. Paula
I had it and it is bad.
Is this coming from a food source or do they know yet?
