Luke 21:11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
Sixty-four people are dead and 715 injured after a series of earthquakes in south-west China. The USGS estimates the quakes at magnitude 5.6. The damage was complicated by the mountainous area which caused a number of landslides.
The death toll is expected to rise as roads to remote villages are cleared of debris. Rescuers have been climbing mountains to reach areas that cannot be accessed by vehicle due to the landslides. At least 100,000 people have been evacuated from areas that can be reached and an estimated 20,000 homes have been damaged.
Aid agencies in the country are worried about children who have been separated from their parents or their parents have been incapacitated or killed. Multiple aftershocks are expected to hit the area.
This is the second deadly quake in the region in the last 4 years. A 7.8 magnitude quake in neighboring Sichuan province killed an estimated 68,000 people.
just went through Isaac. What a storm. Have been through hurricanes before but this was a tropical storm that stayed over our state for the longest time. It was so large that for 2 days it was right over us. Then after the storm another fierce storm came abruptly. All the power was knocked out in the neighborhood. That is except mine and a few neighbors to the left of me. One neighbor to my right was knocking on my door. She said I just wanted to see. I told them Louise will have power. She has some kind of shield over her house. She did not realize the truth she was speaking. Before the storm I had read. God is my shield. I had prayed for a shield of protection over this house. Then out of nowhere another storm came and this house was safe. Sometimes when a word is spoken to you through the Spirit it may be a ways in the future. God’s timing is not our time. I am careful when I say the Lord spoke to me. But I believe he has. Another large earthquake is coming. I don’t know where, but I believe I have heard from the Lord.I don’t know when or the timing of it. I just know its coming
Central California just had another sizable quake this morning…first thing I heard on the news this morning when I woke up. It was a 4.1 at 6:23AM, 8 miles North-Northeast of Avenal. Very close to the so called EQ capital of the US in Parkfield. Just last night we watched Jim talk about many many earthquakes coming to California. People need to wake up and listen when Pastor Jim warns us to get prepared! You can never ever be over prepared. God is on the move and things are beginning to happen more and more each day.
