Earthquakes Rock Opposite Sides Of The Ring Of Fire

Luke 21:11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

<blockquote>“I believe the earth itself is groaning (Rom. 8:19-22) in anticipation of the Lord’s return. Part of this groaning includes floods, volcanoes, tidal waves, hurricanes, and earthquakes.”

The Pacific Ring Of Fire had bookending earthquakes in the early morning. The first struck around 1 a.m. Central Time U.S. in the middle of the Gulf of California rocking awake residents of both Baja California and mainland Mexico.

The quake, centered approximately 63 miles southwest of Los Mochis, registered 6.0 on the Richter scale. Local officials reported that residents were panicking over the quake but that no major damage was reported.

Likewise, no major damage was reported on the other side of the Pacific when a magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck 70 miles south of Saparua, Indonesia. The quake drove scared hotel guests out of their rooms into the streets along with local residents. However, no damage was reported in any impacted cities.

Both quakes were not close enough to the surface to trigger a tsunami.
