The FBI has announced they will be launching a system in 2014 that will allow law enforcement to use facial recognition to track and follow citizens.
The computer-based system will automatically identify a person based on a digital image or video source that is matched to a massive database.
The process had been a work of fiction on TV shows like CSI and other police procedurals but now such a system will be used in real life. The facial recognition program is part of a $1 billion Next Generation Identification System being created by the FBI.
The system will also include iris scans, DNA analysis and voice identification.
The FBI says the new system will allow them to reduce terrorist and criminal activity by expanding criminal history information services.

So guess I gotta watch for when the state police / state government systems are merged into the federal system.
Remember now that the Home Land Security system was set-up so to collect all the various intel from all of the fed police’N agencies, filter it and then present it directly to the president of the United States. The Twin Towers coming down was what built this presidential police’N system. And I will add it was built / established without any resistance. Shoot, I have seen these Home Land Police cars & men here in my city. I asked the two who were in line with me what was up with their presence on private property -No response, yet I could tell they were both uncomfertable. And yep, I saw that they got the best of the best in equipment.
Need it be said that this Home Land Security has yet to stop a single attack? All the ones that did get stopped were stopped by citizens, not by any paid government employee (police included). Ha –perhaps it is because police are enforcers of the law and until the law is broken, they are on stand-by. Ha x 2 -perhaps it’s why we’ve had soooo many anti-freedom laws rolling off the books. To “protect”?
My question to you is, if the government had truly wanted to “protect” us from so called terrorists (I call them mass murderers), then why didn’t they begin with the open boarders back in 19-whenever???
Therefore, the government isn’t to Constitutionally “protect” the USofA. Todays US government is to . . .
