Female DNA Found on Boston Bomb Components

Fox News has released information obtained from a confidential source that female DNA was found on the parts of the bombs used in the Boston Marathon attacks.

“No one should expect that the investigation is over,” the source told Fox, confirming information also reported in the Wall Street Journal.

The FBI has searched the home of the parents of Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s widow. A man identified as Tamerlan’s mentor has hired a family spokesman in an attempt to keep media from harassing them.

The widow, Katherine Russell, reportedly had been working up to 80 hours a week as a home health aide and had no idea her husband was a radical Muslim planning a bomb plot. She has refused to claim the body from government officials and is reportedly allowing the bomber’s parents to claim the corpse.

An FBI interview conducted in Spring 2011 with Tamerlan Tsarnaev did not indicate that he was a radicalized Muslim.

According to investigators the two brothers did not clear out their computer hard drives before being caught by Boston police. The FBI has not released the information on the computers but said it is helpful to the investigation.
