The al-Qaeda linked Islamic terror group al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the assaults that have now resulted in the deaths of 29 people. 58 people have been confirmed wounded by the attack.
Officials confirmed that one of the terrorists was a Somali-Canadian who donated a car bomb. The bombing attacks were the word in the Somalian capital since al-Shabab was driven out of the city in 2011 by government and African Union troops.
Al-Shabab wants to install Sharia law on the country.
